I got mine approved after 2nd try.

I thought the color of the tag pasted in the windscreen is different from those used on headlight?

You remove and put it on a movable tray after they approved?

Yes, officially windscreen version is blue, which I still have for my expired and deactivated one.

Ok. Then you will be fine. 

For others, I am not so sure. The Tag is supposed to be non transferable and designed with certain implementation measures to ensure once pasted, it stays there.  

It is highly likely that over next few months till full system implementation, JPJ will be at CIQ checking SG cars randomly, there is a what-if scenario that needs to be thought through.  But then, nothing that RM50 won't settle, I presume?  😂

It is amazing the level of bureaucracy and strictness when it comes to the application and even how precise the tag is pasted.

Is this typical of bureaucracy in Malaysia? I highly doubt so.

I think when it comes to collecting $ from Singaporeans, they are going the extra extra mile in designing this mindless system...

Anyone changed car plate number and had issue de-registering your VEP?
I submitted the request via online and it kept getting rejected.

Citing reason as "We noticed that you have a current active tag application. Thank you."

I don't have any active tag application, only have one active/activated VEP which is tagged to my old car plate lol

@2wiremodem I have the same issue. 

I replaced a new headlamp. i submitted a case to dereg so as to apply a new tag. keep getting rejected. 

I called the helpdesk number and the staff helped me with the submission, now my case is under verified, pending dereg which I dunno how long.

After 2 times fail because i nvr really 'pasted' on the headlight, finally the 3rd time just guai guai paste on it permanently and passed. Now i hope it doesn't drop off during heavy downpour or in car wash or worse still peeled out by si ginna.

Most will know when and where to deploy RM$50. Only Tiong kok bu either blur or damn stupid. Wonder why we import such stupidity.

I like how Malaysia needs VEP to track parking fine to the vehicle when they can already connect the dots by telling you the vehicle has got unpaid fines prior to VEP application.

I can't tell.. whoever is doing the approval their eyes can do CSI sia..

Anyway the sticker if stick properly it cannot drop off one. I have jet wash it weekly for more than half a year still nothing happen. As for si ginna..it is not worth the effort to peel it off on a whim. They must really hate you.
