Me too had the 850T. Lovely car to drive fast on Malaysian B roads and the engine was fabulous in sound and acceleration. Overtaking lorries on single lanes was a breeze once have an opening. 

Only problems were the petrol consumption, and breakdowns as my car reached 9 years. Repairs by the AD were expensive. Final straw was when the driver's door hinge broke on me. Scrapped the car for a Jap performance saloon.

Had the updated 850 ie S70T5. Fast, comfortable and spacious. 220 hp back in those days was quite a lot.

There was also the limited edition 250 bhp manic 850R that came in one colour. We had a few in Singapore.

Then there was the Subaru Legacy GT was sold only in dark green IIRC and the Legacy GTB wagon. Also limited in numbers and colour. Those were the good old days of car ownership in Singapore.

The 2nd generation XC90 must be at least 10 years old by now, with the latest facelift. Both facelifted XC60 & XC90 still looked good. Facelift S90 was bad. That new grille just doesn't work on a sedan and I much prefer the original rear lights which had far more character. 

The current heavily facelifted 3rd gen Lexus IS also looks very purposeful in real-life.

Drove the 960 2.5 for a bit. Comfy seats, but shit handling. Even at low speeds, plenty of understeer and steering twitches like crazy when power is applied. 
the inline6 was nice but a tad coarse. 
of course Kenna ketok by SM motors.

Agree with your assessment of the S90. The facelift make it looks a generation older, like the 4G Audi A6.

The IS exterior keep up with times well but not the dated interior imo.

i bought the s90 in 2020, just before the CB kicks in. Overall decent car but it was already very dated then in 2020 as it was released in 2017. The "ipad" central console was a fresh concept back in 2017 but by 2020 it was already a dime a dozen. One thing to note - the version that wearnes motor brought in is missing many standard features.

Recently i went to volvo again and i was amazed that nothing has changed even though there is a so called "face-lift" model, minus the grill.  No wonder their sales are falling. 280k for this piece of junk! 

BTW - i got that for 169K in 2020. Cant believe anyone in the right mind paying 250K for this metal
