But then again after the rich are hounded out, their homes looted and burned down, no govt in place, who's in charge? After some time you see the protest leaders still boh pian have to pick someone with experience governing which is still going to be, eventually, more of the same.

Yes …… same will play out till the Army cools down the situation ….. Gen Z is quite very powerfull and likewise also very powerfool too …Hopefully there is some degree of acceptance of the High Court Judge to take over this temporary situation…… Anyways the top politicians already took off to India likely ( Don’t think so they will go to any other country around there )

private condo security i dun think got gurka. they are usually contracted to security companies bidding the lowest during tender exercises... which means the guards are usually lowly-paid, got overweight old aunties/aunties even... unlike the Gurkas...

think Gurkas are deployed in key installations maybe?

Thailand, govt change but done peacefully. 

In China, it was just ridiculous mob justice. So it was a bullying incident, but people were not happy about the seemingly light punishment handed to the perpetrators. Nowadays with social media it is very easy for such mob mentality to form and demand eye-for-an-eye retribution, which is impractical where students are involved. Naturally there's always suspicion of influential people being involved, and this stirs public anger.

We have such bullying incidents here as well but i think people by and large accept that our handling here when it concern school kids will lean towards rehabilitation rather than retribution.

Trust in public institutions is very important.
