All in Cat A territory. Due to the added height, the C10 will feel more roomier on the inside. The second row seats are also set further back, providing more leg room - almost D segment vehicle space. The compromise is a smaller boot space at the back. Need to sit in the C10 to compare against other rides. This C10 spec like not bad but the price is the cheapest. I find for almost all EVs, all have spacious leg room space behind. Even the entry level small EV space also not bad. Edited November 4, 2025 by 13177

steveting99 3rd Gear March 1 Author Share March 1 Have done a cost breakdown of Cycle & Carriage's (C&C) margins on the Leapmotor C10 for January 2026. Can confirm that C&C are making fat triple digit margins and thus can be safely labelled as money jiāngshī (吸血鬼) 🧛♂️. Detailed breakdown for the month of January 2026 is below, with a comparison to a rival (Kia) within C&C's stable. All comparison are based on all cash deal. Interesting that when the VES and EEAI rebates were reduced by $10k on 1-Jan-2026, C&C was greedy enough to raise price of the C10. This increased their money jiāngshī (吸血鬼) 🧛♂️margin from 142% (Dec-2025) to 174% in Jan-2026. Despite C&C increasing prices, there was at least 19 buyers of the C10 in the month of Jan-2026. abelcheng Neutral Newbie March 7 Share March 7 That’s a brutally honest review. It sounds like the C10 has the hardware down, but the 'user experience' was designed by someone who has never actually lived with the car. Regarding that nightmare with the NFC key card on the mirror—I've seen people over on EVupup.com picking up physical remote key fobs and leather NFC covers that actually make the entry process feel like a normal car rather than a tech experiment gone wrong. They also have specific interior mods for the C10/B10 (like armrest storage boxes and sealing strips to help with that wind noise you mentioned). Since it’s a company car, you probably don’t want to go tearing it apart, but some of those 'plug and play' accessories might actually make the next few months of your lease bearable. Definitely worth a look if you’re trying to fix the 'rushed to market' feel yourself!

Yet new comers keep trying to squeeze in. I am not sure any other countries car sale is as complicated as Singapore. The more complicated, each segment give the seller opportunity to make money. The COE, the PARF and scrap value of your car, the financing, the insurance, etc. The selling price is just an overall number which factor in all these frills.

Got laws regulating dealers and concept of 'over invoice' and many leasing tricks and delivery charges etc etc. But the main thing is, the _absolute value_ of the car, makes it all too easy to hide a few k here and there and have fatty gravy on for example the loan. The absolute value of the car, also makes it harder for private sellers to sell direct to buyers. Because most buyers need car loan. So we dont have an active equivalent of bring-a-trailer or craigslist car sales.
steveting99 3rd Gear March 27 Author Share March 27 Leapmotor's B10 is now available over the causeway. Video review by Bobby Ang on it is here: Bobby says the B10 is a grown up version of the older C10. Compared to the C10 it's got: (1) Better handling. Well tuned suspension with a good chassis; (2) Better noise suppression at highway speeds (130km/hr to 140km/hr); (3) Better fit and finish (both exterior and interior). With the ability to manually adjust the air vents and can hide the tonneau cover in the boot; (4) Faster and improved user interface via the infotainment screen; (5) Better Automatic Cruise Control (ACC); and (6) Smart regeneration. The missing feature is missing wiper on the rear windscreen - might be an issue where dust will build up. Also now front glove box. Sound system is okay, not as good as eMas7. Okay camera resolution. Surprised that Bobby thinks the B10's interior is better than BMW X3! Bobby is slamming German car makers... 😶 Feels more expensive than it is due to the nice soft touch points inside. Better than what the Japanese and Korean auto manufacturers can offer. Priced well over the causeway at RM118k for the higher end Design variant. Cheaper than the Proton eMas7. Will see what the money jiāngshī (吸血鬼) 🧛♂️of Cycle and Carriage is going to charge for the B10 once it arrives here in Singapore. C&C are money jiāngshī (吸血鬼) 🧛♂️and wanting to make their fat triple digit margins.👺
steveting99 3rd Gear March 31 Author Share March 31 (edited) In order to achieve the 1 million units for 2026, Leapmotor is continuing roll out new models for 2026. The next international model is called the B03X (also referred to as the A10 in China). It's a compact SUV with the following dimensions. Length: 4,270mm Width: 1,180mm Height: 1,635mm Wheelbase: 2,605m Door handles are semi-recessed. Hopefully it complies with the new GB 48001-2026, "Safety Technical Requirements for Automobile Door Handles," which comes into force on Jan. 1, 2027. This bans fully hidden/retractable door handles. Existing models such as the C10 and B10 has until the 1-Jan-2029 to be compliant , if it's not already. The rear tail lights is supposed to resemble a "happy face".😁 Think it resembles more of a surprised face...😮 Believe this will appeal to female population who think it's cute...🤣 Interior is the familiar Leapmotor design and quality. Lots of soft touch materials. At the front seats there's a dual-spoke multi-function steering wheel, an 8.88" full LCD instrument cluster, and a 14.6" 2.5K floating central control screen. A floating IP BAR located below the central screen offers customizable options such as ambient lighting, a fragrance dispenser, a safety hammer, or a humidifier. The infotainment system is powered by a Qualcomm SA8295 cockpit chip and integrates Alibaba's Qwen AI assistant. The B03X offers a 106L sunken storage compartment in the trunk, and the rear seat cushions can be flipped up 60 Deg to create additional storage space. The cabin space utilization rate of 88.1%. The Leapmotor B03X is powered by a single electric motor from Huzhou Lingsheng Power Technology Co., Ltd., available in two output options: 70kW or 90kW, both delivering a peak torque of 150 Nm. So good news that it's going to be in Cat A territory.👍 There are also two battery capacities available: 39.8kWhr or 53kWhr. These battery options provide CLTC pure electric driving ranges of 403km (appox. 330km in WLTP) and 505km (approx. 450km in WLTP), respectively. The top end range is good enough for city driving in Singapore. The B03X also supports DC fast charging, capable of replenishing the battery from 30% to 80% in 16 minutes. It utilizes lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries supplied by Gotion High-tech. Need to check if it complies with GB 38031-2025 " Safety Requirements for Power Batteries of Electric Vehicles". The SUV has a curb weight of 1,360kg for the smaller battery pack and 1,460 kg for the larger model. Top speed of 160 km/h. The B03X utilizes 2000MPa aerospace-grade hot-formed steel in critical areas to ensure occupant protection, so should be getting five star safety rating from Euro NCAP. The A10 mainland China model is equipped with lidar and a Qualcomm SA8650 chip, enabling “parking space to parking space” full-scenario assisted driving. This suite includes City NAP (Navigation Assisted Pilot), Highway Navigation, and Memory Parking functionalities. Unfortunately the international B03X wont be getting lidar and advance driving features. A10 production locations include two Leapmotor plants in Jinhua, Zhejiang province. Sales are expect to start Q2 2026. The A10 is expected to compete directly with China’s best-selling pure electric vehicles, including the Geely Geome Xingyuan (eMas 5 in this part of the world) and BYD Yuan Up (Atto 2 in this part of the world). steveting99 3rd Gear April 5 Author Share April 5 Over the causeway, Leapmotor has updated the C10 to the newer 2026 spec model called the C10 Plus. Spec sheets are below. The C10 Plus now incorporates an 800V architecture that improves the drive train efficiency and DC fast charging capabilities. A few things to note on the change in spec sheets of the C10 Plus vs. the older C10: Architecture: 800V (+400V vs. the older 2024 model)😃 DC fast charging: 180kW (+96kW more than the older 2024 model) AC charging: 11kW (+4.4kW more than the older 2024 model) Motor power output: 220kW (+60kW more than the older 2024 model) Torque: 360 Nm (+40Nm more than the older 2024 model) Battery capacity: 81.9 kWhr (+12kWhr more than the older 2024 model) Maximum speed: 190 km/hr (+20 km/hr more than the older 2024 model) Acceleration time (0 to 100 km/hr): 6.2 second (-1.3 seconds better than the 2024 model). Not that it would matter here in Singapore with the neutered 100kW motor output. WLTP range: 510 km (+90km more than the older 2024 model)👍 Claimed drivetrain efficiency: 15.1 kWh per 100 km (-3.7 kWhr per 100km better than the older 2024 model)😁 Kerb weight: 2,055 kg (+75kg heavier than the older 2024 model) 😮 Maximum carrying capacity: 405kg (-75kg less than the older 2024 model).☹️ Due to the increased battery capacity size and bigger motor. Rest of the specs looks to be the same. The C10 Plus operating system is now on version 4.0, will have check out some reviews if the bugs have been addressed. Still no Apple Car Play or Android Auto, so this might be a show stopper for some. Price of the C10 Plus over the causeway has gone up by around RM$23k. Mainly due to the expiration of EV tax incentives on 1-Jan-2026. So Stellantis/Leapmotor will now have to pay import duties and taxes for every C10 Plus - which is being passed down to their customers. This has resulted in a drop of sales for the C10 in past two months, see chart below. At the start of 2026, the C10 was at No.16. Currently C10 is at No.19 in EV sales for Malaysia. So the C10 model isn't doing so well and showing a trend of weak sales in Q1 2026. ↡ Advertisement
