Think now they don’t do it anymore now. ↡ Advertisement

When rain the water will bead and roll off I only swipe to clear view If kena sprinkle. I will also swipe. When I get home I use cloth to wipe the windscreen. Never change any wiper blades in my close to 30years of driving. All original. My current car 8 y.o. still using original blades and swipes cleanly. 1

I asked ChatGPT this time round. Taking into account current quota, LTA remaining injection programme (from bought forward future COE), age-distribution pipeline, future demand and assuming a 6-month lag for 60-70% deregistration/ recycling and the prediction is for COE quota to peak in 2028. Just for fun. Yeah the lag a bit more now as they use average of 1 year dereg for the next quarter quota.

Today I was at Caltex to buy a bottle of Techron Fuel System Cleaner. Saw Rain-X on the shelf and hoot a bottle for $13. Opened it and I smelt alcohol. Wondering if it is safe to use on tinted windscreen and tinted wing mirrors. If not, then I will use on shower stalls, taps and the tiles so that easier to clean soap suds.
