If there is an update, does Mazda inform all Mazda owners via mail that an update is available on their next servicing date or do we really have to ask the Service guy whether there is an update...? I am wondering if the update is chargeable, it doesn't sounds very right. It's like buying an android 4.3 kitkat and google charges you to update to ver 5.0 lollipop. I mean, the update should come as a free service bah.. Just my thoughts... :) Oh, do you guys perform backup for your ride's SD card...? I think my SE passed me something on the navigation software...should be the key to update it. https://www.tomtom.com/en_us/products/your-drive/built-in-navigation/mazda-navigation-system-nb1/ TOM TOM home software is actually inside the SD card. You can install and register your TOM TOM account by a email. There is also a activation code which I am asking my SE if there is one...with that code there maybe additional free updates. Manage to load 3 system updates and 2 point of interested updates to the SD card. Will load in my SD card tomorrow to see any it installs all the updates. Actually I was thinking of doing a clone but once I install the software it actually ask you to backup your SD card. So I believe it already did a backup on my laptop so I didnt create another SD card. This morning I insert the SD card back into the card and it took about 5-10 mins to re-install the TOM TOM software. Everything works fine after install but I didn't really have time to check out if those upgrades (POI, gps fix) are really installed. When you insert SD card in your laptop, you have to browse into your SD card directory and run the TOM TOM software application to install it on your laptop. Once the software is install, you should be able to explore and play around with the options inside. If I remember correctly, once you install the software it will scan your SD card and prompt you that there is updates and ask you to install. You need to register by email in order to do the updates I mentioned. There is also a activation code which I asking my SE if can provide. This activation code may allow other upgrades/update. When insert SD into the car, you don't have to do anything...just press NAV and you should see the screen that it is installing. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

You need to send your car to LTA to test,make sure it comform to the latest emission standard & power output,below the stated 130 Bhp,it could take months ,then you need to pay the taxes & COE in full cash.. also warranty issue.??Import a very high end Ferrari or supercar,still worth it,but a B&B car.?Forget it...
