Yes, very serious.

For her to accumulate insurance discount while driving kids to school and to the market.

An Mz2 really fits the bill.

the 911 is mine! Mine! Mine!

Muayhahahaha

One of our bros did a review already:

Asholes will say I'm biased, but a used Mz6 has better

FC then the Mz2. My personal take, plus factor in the comfort

and handling. Test drive and you'll know. Don't take my word for it.

Congrats to those who booked the new Mazda6... [thumbsup]

Btw...Had anybody here driven your mazda to KL and back without topping up until JB/Tanjung Pelepas checkpoint?

Am trying to test my Mazda3 2.0 with a full 55L tank(me alone driving) from Adam rd to KL(Bkt Jalil) n back to Tanjung Pelepas Shell station right b4 Checkpoint.

A bit risky, your car can go about 13-14km/L,for 55L tank, you can go about 700km,from J.B. to K.L.,1 way is about 380km,let's say you got some traffic jams in K.L..?Better don't take the risk.

Interesting, but just standby 1 or 2 tins of 5l petrol inside boot just in case.

It should be possible if drive alone without aircon and maintain cruising speed at 100km/hr.

i have driven from sg to malacca and back with the same tank of petrol, when reaching JB the low fuel light came on, decided nvm still bright lights + still bright and sunny + JB already can continue

after around 10 minutes of driving all the headlamps were gone, it was coming 8pm so the sun had set and i can see MOUNTAINS around me. the nearest petrol station that i passed was at this time some 40km behind

i tell you, it was so damn scary because i can't just leave my car at the NSH since it is so dark, i had nobody to call, didn't know how far away is the nearest petrol station

also if i ran out of petrol and decided to make a run on foot to the nearest petrol station, should i turn back and run 40km or run forward hopefully there'll be one nearby.

all in all, my advise to you is don't try. you might make it once but your 2nd trip might not be so lucky. the petrol consumption difference between running at 100km/h and 180km/h is massive, its around 1/2x more petrol burnt to drive at >160km/h

plus there is a difference between flooring your accelerator in auto mode and flooring it on manual 5th gear mode.

from what i've tried it is more powerful and more fuel efficient to floor in auto mode but it doesn't make sense...

but do take my advise seriously, you don't wanna be stuck on NSH with nobody to turn to

Thx for the input guys...I've driven numerous times to KL n back but always leaving SGP on a 3/4 tank...So usually I'll have to top up around 650km...Fuel light on...N usually drive around 120km/h...especially now with the speed cameras installed...well thx again...

Trial n tested..just got back from KL. Total mileage was 674.2km. Steven rd (caltex)-KL(Bukit Jalil)-gelang patah(shell) used 2nd link. Pumped up full to the brim...only 48L. Means still have 6L left. 120km/h all the way.

Sorry guys, I am new here.

Not sure if I am right to post here. Sorry if I had posted the wrong place.

Anyway, the older Mazda 5, somehow the 3rd row has some difficulty feeling the A/C.

Therefore had to blast the A/C to Level 3 and driver somehow will feel frozen in order for the 3rd row to feel the A/C.

Anyone had tried installing a mini fan or something at the 3rd row?

Thank you.
