Hi Vezelian , noob question i just booked a black vezel .just realized there is 2 kind of black colour in the market just wondering normally pi have which black .you guys are getting which black .Ruse Black Metallic or Crystal Black Pearl. Tks

I believe PIs hv Ruse black metallic.

my wife doesn't feel confident to drive my car...

the vezel hybrid seems like a suitable candidate as she does mostly city driving. Another reason is the additional power will come in handy if we decide to take this car up north. 

 

other than the price difference, is there any downside to the hybrid variant? In terms of boot space or passenger legroom or any others etc?

 

COE between Cat A and B not too big of a difference now.

Road tax same right?

 

another candidate will be the honda shuttle hybrid. prefer "hatchback" for easy loading of items into the boot..

Very good lo. I paid $118,888 for white vezel x and waited exactly 7 mths, with no rebates or discount given. I booked with COE is high at 60k to 70k. And only got car when the coe is about 50K. COE is very hard to predict.

 

On top of that. The car came with scratches that was not spotted during take over as PI insisted to collect at night time, with very poor lighting :(

 

Just commit when you feel is right and not look back. Regret also no point. Enjoy the car and move on...

Going back to PI or even AD workshop are mainly due to worry about warranty.

If the car is MIJ, I don't think can be so unlucky to have a main quality issue for the.

My previous PI car drive for 3yrs+ without any issue and only the 1st 1k service done at their WS. After that I move to my prefer WS already.

 

Many PI new cars' warranties are covered by well established global brands like Hitachi and the workshops' quality and reliability are as good if not even better than the regular ADs. But like you said, if it is MIJ, very rare to have quality and warranty issues for the first 5 years.

Very difficult to spot light scratches on a white car at night. I always bring along a white light torch light even in daytime which will be able to expose all the surface imperfections. Sorry to hear that you waited 7 months for your car, my PI buddy's customers all get their cars in under 3 months. So many car dealers called themselves parallel importers but they merely take the cars from the handful of genuine parallel importers who will assign and allocate the JDM cars to all these car dealers based on certain earlier pre arrangements. My buddy once hijacked for me another PI car that was originally meant for another car dealer's customer because the other car dealer had some cash flow problems and hence I got my car in 6 weeks instead of the estimated 10 weeks.

bro you must understand different time frame have different challenges, back then it was really hot for vezel. too many customers want to get this babe and coe allocations are very low at that time.

Bro sorry to hear that. But not all PI will chu pattern. My PI delivered within 4 weeks after i inked the deal, non guarantee and high coe rebate. I got coe rebate of 3k when the coe they bidded was lower then my coe rebate level. Their price is higher than other PI, but i trust my PI base on their track records and long establishment in the industry.

 

I bought without any freebies only have pioneer 2750, asked for discount and straight got 1.5k off the price. SE say no freebies he can deliver faster cos no need to sent for local fittings. No need freebies, cos i prefer to install things that i like rather than what they give me.

 

The delivery timeline is even faster than my previous car bought from AD. No frills and hassle free. But now Vezel so hot, probably will be reasonable to have at least 8 weeks delivery timeline.

I hear squeaking sounds from the front of my car when going over humps. Mine is a 4 months old mazda 6. What could be the problem and any other Mazda 6 owners having the same issue?

If these bushes were polyurethane, greasing is always necessary. On rubber parts, try spraying rubber-friendly silicone lube.:)

VERY common problem,the agent will change the "Lower Arm bushes" for you,but won't last long,some members in my "whatApps" chat group already changed 3 times,but noise creep back after rainy/wet driving for 4-5 months.

I also have this suspension knocking issue. It was coming from the front suspension. Highlighted it during my 10k servicing, and they claimed to change the armbushing. First 2 days was perfect. Then it started coming back, but now from the rear suspension. And it came back gradually, slowly getting louder and more frequent. Going to contact the same service guy again. Frustrating...

We should NOT have to accept it like this.
