Andyngps 5th Gear December 29, 2015 Share December 29, 2015 Thanks Andy..No prob. Enjoy your ride!! Now I am thinking of getting rid of my hard boot cover because very troublesome to keep taking it out to store foldies. Regretted not getting the soft retractable type which requires some installation unfortunately.
Cksonic Neutral Newbie December 29, 2015 Share December 29, 2015 Hi bros, need some advice. I collected my vezel from PI about 3 weeks back, that time they did not wire up the surveillance mode for my iroad v7. the installer says having it on surveillance mode would spoil and deplete the battery very quickly in the short term. Is this true? Also, if i wire the iroad up to surveillance mode, am i able to turn it off anytime i want? e.g. going for long holiday overseas. Nlatio Turbocharged December 29, 2015 Share December 29, 2015 If one already sign contract for a Vezel X, don't think can change to Vezel X Hybrid right???
Chnrxn Neutral Newbie December 29, 2015 Share December 29, 2015 If one already sign contract for a Vezel X, don't think can change to Vezel X Hybrid right??? Well, I'd think that the PI would not say no to more $$$. Besides, given that there is so much demand for Vezel nowadays, if someone else is willing to take your Vezel X, and you are willing to deal with whatever comes with the Hybrid, i.e. delays, admin charge, etc, it might be possible. Just ask your PI. No prob. Enjoy your ride!! Now I am thinking of getting rid of my hard boot cover because very troublesome to keep taking it out to store foldies. Regretted not getting the soft retractable type which requires some installation unfortunately. I was also thinking of getting a hard tonneau cover, but now I like the convenience of loading my trolley bags upright. I think a retractable cover is more flexible. Now I am thinking of getting rid of my hard boot cover because very troublesome to keep taking it out to store foldies. Hard ones disable me of storing stroller or big boxes.

Just sayang that got to drill holes. I initially got a soft one but sold it away becos I dun wana drill holes. Hard ones do have its convenience too as you can still place some barang on it. I would say the example shown which the top cover can open one may be quite useful.
Si4dr 6th Gear December 30, 2015 Share December 30, 2015 This is the bot cover I'm referring. I'm interested on this too(even same taobao supplier ) but haven't get my Vezel yet. Let me know if u buy it.
Akszaksz 2nd Gear December 30, 2015 Share December 30, 2015 You should go for the foldable type. I tried before, foldable ones cannot put stuff of certain weight. But retractable ones can withstand more weight.

Is this true? Also, if i wire the iroad up to surveillance mode, am i able to turn it off anytime i want? e.g. going for long holiday overseas. Countless people have their cams running on surveillance mode for so long liao. It just depends if there's voltage cut in-built in the cam or as an add on, that cuts the power to the cam once the car batt hits below say, 12V. And how long should a car battery last? I change my car batt every 12 - 14 months just in case. As for your 2nd question, you can turn it off or pull out the power wire whenever you want. :) Edited December 30, 2015 by Wiiuwii
Chiggro 1st Gear December 30, 2015 Share December 30, 2015 Other than looks, the Harrier has nothing much to shout about...Air-Con is very Un-Toyota, not as cold as Toyota should be, Ride quality not to my liking, too much roll. CX- 5 doors sounded too hollow, might need to sound proof to give it a solid "thud", no Auto Tailgate and "pop" up display like the sedans. Tough choice between this 2, you might want to look at Tiguan and CR-V, as they are all priced around the same level. If looks are your thing, the Harrier Modellista versions could be what you are looking for. Just my 2 cents worth. Bro, Thanks much for the info! Interesting view on things. haha The TUSCON also quite power... and value for moolah too! Thinking thinking... CAT B is low NOW! haha
