  1. A motorcyclist was caught in a collision with the back of the camcar while in the middle of checking his blindspot. Watch the video for yourself below 289442118_5402399956483655_5591737215663982744_n.mp4 It is not known as to what injuries the cyclist has sustained, but let’s hope that he manages to recuperate fast from this incident. This video was sourced from Tiktok, and has surfaced on the Facebook page, ROADS.sg. It does not seem like any traffic laws were broken in the process of this incident and seems to just be an unfortunate accident incurred by the motorcyclist. Motorcyclists are definitely more prone to accidents on the road than closed vehicles like cars. Being less visible to other drivers, pedestrians as well as less stable than four-wheeled vehicles, it places them at an increased vulnerability to accidents. They are also required to be much more aware and alert regarding their surroundings and are more vulnerable to weather hazards and road conditions. Netizen Comments Netizens attempt to give their take on this unfortunate incident, both attributing blame and showing their concern Let this be a lesson to treat road safety with the utmost importance and be wary of our surroundings on the highways. ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news, and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. 2. When an individual jaywalks, it is almost a no-brainer to check for oncoming traffic and blind spots before crossing the road. Unfortunately, this jaywalker had to learn to check for oncoming traffic and her blind spots the hard way: What Happened? This accident occurred on 20th February 2022, along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 after the SPC petrol station. The cam car was travelling along lane 3 at a relatively slow speed. Out of the blue, a woman dashes out from in-between two cars along lane 2. It was apparent that the woman did not bother checking her blind spot and simply assumed that there was no oncoming car. The cam car driver, who was unable to react in time, ended up colliding into the jaywalking woman with a substantial amount of force that sent her flying in mid-air for a good second or so. NGL, I am certain that F1 drivers cannot react in time if they were in the above situation. After landing on her back, the lady instantly got up to her feet. She then walked towards the roadside and sat on the grass while a passerby, the cam car driver and his passenger attended to her. This was a fortunate outcome for the jaywalking lady, considering she emerged from this accident without much hurt. Hopefully, this experience proves to be a valuable lesson to her. Netizens' Comments Hopefully some regulations can be made to protect motorists too. 💯 Hahaha what a troll. ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news, and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. 3. Think that there are no need for blind spot mirrors actually if the can adjust your side mirrors correctly and adjust your driving style to always look at both the rear and side mirrors. Also read about it somewhere before. Agree?
  4. Anyone observed this as well? I notice some M'sian bikers (purposely?) like to tailgate cars and positioned themselves in the driver's blindspot. What is strange is that the roads surrounding the bikers are clear. Logically, they can just zoom off easily but they choose to hide in driver's blindspot. Is there something more sinister going on?
  5. Where can I buy side blindspot mirror? BEST BUY: simple and effective, the Danger Zone does the job superbly. There
  6. Used my horn 3 times during a 15 minutes driving home coz got some heroes and heroines din check blindspot and drift onto my lanes.. had to brake and horn at them..
