  1. Let me introduce you, my old 2010 and black Toyota Vios with fake carbon fiber hood! The car with dashing black limited edition 15" inch TRD Wheels, with "Brembo" brake callipers. https://www.facebook.com/carreviewsncare/videos/219492925663578/ Nothing is more fun that driving your own car, where you can sit in and outside of your car without worry the dent and scratches on the car. The interior of the car is spacious and come with full hard plastics dashboard that make the car really dull, suitable for boring man but it last really long time without rattle sound... The NCP93 VVT-i Vios engine is really powerful, cute and small at the same time. Now even Perodua Myvi 2017 are using the engine! The boot space is really big, and I can put all my rubbish inside without worrying dirty my car seats! The car come with hybrid of GT Street and TRD body kit that help to improve the aerodynamics of the car that cruising at 200km/h. This is no joke, man. I love the car because it don't have cruise control, volume control, paddle shift control on steering, etc...
  2. Don’t get too worried or excited. This thread is about Alternate Way of Automotive Review & Evaluation. Subscription and contribution to this thread are welcome, but with strings attached (pun intended). And dear moderators, this is not just another TKR thread, as it is closely related to cars. We have seen / read many various types of car review, whereby chunks of numbers are shown, in attempt to convince potential buyers on how big or spacious the car is. But as a layman, most will have difficulty trying to visualize what these figures meant to them and their occupants. And not to forget we might not have the slightest idea how to maximize the use of space within our expensive ride… … This thread shall cover rides as small as a Kei car, to large people mover. Here are few examples, and you may like to make a guess of the model name, Ahem err, I am referring to the CAR model name… Which kei car has a boot that can accommodate a person in it? Which Mazda model has such a tiny boot? Which sedan has such a spacious rear seats? Which conti has such flat floor boot? Which SUV allow such easy access to the driver seat? Which Toyota model has such a nice looking interior? Which hybrid model has such a short bonnet? Which MPV still have such user-unfriendly B-pillar? For those that wonder what to expect, see some example in these posts I made earlier: Honda Odyssey http://www.mycarforum.com/topic/2700646-7-seater-mpv/?p=5864291 Honda Jade http://www.mycarforum.com/topic/2700646-7-seater-mpv/?p=5866602 Alphard & Stepwgn http://www.mycarforum.com/topic/2700646-7-seater-mpv/?p=5868342
  3. Recently, Mat Watson of Carbuyer U.K. got to review the Peugeot 208 GTI and Ford Fiesta ST on separate occasions. Both hot hatches were launched within two weeks apart. Both cars share more similarities than just their launch dates. The Fiesta ST and 208 GTI are both powered by 1.6-litre turbocharged engines mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. The GTI churns out 197bhp with a century sprint timing of 6.7 seconds while the ST produces 200bhp and goes from 0 to 100km/h in 6.9 seconds. Although the ST is slower, it certainly trashes the GTI in terms of hot hatch looks with its "Aston Martin" grille. And from Mat's expression during both reviews, you can guess which one he prefers. The GTI and ST earned a rating of 4.0/5.0 and 4.8/5.0 respectively at the end of the reviews. Ford Fiesta ST Peugeot 208 GTI

  7. Did you know that it basically took Audi 126.5 million years to finally agree with everyone alive that having a tall 4,6 or 8 cylinder engine set up high and way in front of the front axle does not do wonders to the handling of their front wheel drive sedans? Having driven the current A6, the previous generation A4 (B7 series) as well as the earlier ones too, I have to say that massive understeer is the preferred way for these front wheel drive Audis to corner. On the B7 A4 I remember driving it hard and it felt so nose heavy that even with a pointy nose it felt as if the steering was the one end of the stick and the other end was the large elephant hanging off of it. That A4 was a pretty good car and in 2.0TFSI form was a fast ride but the high speed handling on a twisty road was really bad. I would assume this trait would be lessened in the Quattro or All wheel drive version of the cars, but in the front wheel drive A4, it basically was awful. Now this brings us to the current B8 Audi A4 1.8 TFSI launched around two years ago. The car I tried is owned by a friend of mine and it is a car that is very familiar to me. His ride pictured above is the 1.8TFSI 160bhp spec that comes with the larger 18inch tires and rims. It looks so much better than the stock 17inch rims that the standard car is specced with. I suppose it was because of nearly universal criticism of mega understeer that Audi had finally decided to re-engineer the engine and gearbox placement of the A4. The wheels are now at least 8cm forward compared to the earlier setup and this equates to better handling as well steering feel. The car does not drive like you were sitting just slightly behind an arrow
