  1. Hi there, 1. I'm wondering whether I could upgrade my default 15" rims and tyres to 16" for my 04 Civic. There is no mention of the car compatibility with 16" except 15" and 14" in the owner manual . 2. How much should I budget for a set of 4 rims and tyres? Being new to changing rims, what should I look for when I shop for them? Which are the mainstream brands from Japan, europe and america? 3. Would 16" provides better road holding and stability at the expense of fuel economy and noises? Kindly advise and Thank you very much. Regards,
  2. I'm thinking of getting an MX5 next year but I don't know if it suits me. I'm 1.78m tall and pretty big cos I gym alot (into bodybuilding). Question --> Not compatible for my size? Will I look gay in it? James Lye drives one and he looks ok. He's pretty well built as well. Give me your honest opinion. Thanks.
  3. hi bros, i think this topic might be discussed before, but i cant find it. How do i know if a tire can fit on my rims, say 7JJ offset 38mm, can 245 tire fit in? where can get these info?
  4. Hi all, I was searching for the above information in MCF but couldn't find anything related. So I googled online and found something. Basically I was wondering if my leftover oil filters for my previous Toyota Corolla (G9) could be used on my Toyota Fielder. So I found this url here which is very useful http://www.toyotaownersonline.com/pub-shar...oil_filters.pdf Just to share with other Toyota owners. Thanks.
  5. Here's the fun bit. I bought a toyota Sera which comes with the SLSS (super live surround sound) system. This means i have 2 pairs of OEM components, 1 OEM sub and 1 OEM front centre speaker. sound is controled through a dsp/small amp behind the dash and the rear components are in a "sausage" enclosure that can tilt at a button to change the angle the sound bounces off the glass. As the car is a 1990 model i was thinking of refurbishing all the speakers. Due to the unique nature of the rear speakers i have to get them professionally done. I have also sorted out the front components. My problem lies in the sub and centre speaker. Due to space constraints i am left with 1 speaker. its a 20w RMS with a 40w max power. I will be running a VDO Dayton HU that cranks out MOSFET 4x55w. Do you think i will be blowing the speakers or will i just have distortion if i turn the volume up to high?
