Any honda fit owners or honda fit/jazz experts know how come there are honda fits with non-IDSI engines. I thought Jazz comes with ivtec and fit comes with IDSI. What's the main pros and cons of these 2 engines? I noe twin spark gives better combustion for fit, wat abt ivtec? Anyone can shed some light? Cheers

Any comments on these 2 cars? And which would u choose. My perception of the Vios and remarks i heard about. The interior plastics are a disaster. Plastics are hard and brittle, though the surface is texture to help disguise the use of really inferior quality plastics. Too common on the roads. Rear seat capacity is uncomfortable and cramped. Price $4k cheaper. More power, Better Handling and Acceleration? My perception of the City IDSI and remarks i heard about. More sporty interior. "Weird" external look (dont look weird to me at all.. anyone got comments on which part is weird?) CVT comes with a "7 speed mode" by manually choosin between seven virtual ratios by way of buttons on the steering wheel. Great fuel consumption ideal for city driving. Steering is too light. Rear seats are bigger and more comfy. Price $4k more expensive. Less power, Poorer Handling and Acceleration? Anyone would like to correct me or any inputs or comments are really appreciated. Thks.

Hi guys Was actually longing to buy an Airwave but cannot find any shop that carry stock for its spare parts so have to kill my true love. Now what's left in my mind are the following:- 1. Honda City 1.5 iDSI. love the FC 2. Honda City 1.5 Vtec. love the Vtec and foldable backseat. 3. Latio Sport. Good cabin space, Wife love it. With the price of Petrol shooting up I am really forced to look at a more fuel saving car. Was considering buying a Manual City iDSI, but then when trying to over take in highway, fearful that high speed iDSI no power. Considering the Vtec not sure if its FC is a great difference with the iDSI. Then there is this CVT thing. Wow, very impress with this CVT technology. Step on the gas and maintain the RPM at 2000 just watch the car go. The first car we test drive was Latio Sport now my wife only has eyes for it. Whenever we raise the car issue the first thing that comes out from her mouth is "L A T I O x 10". Personnally this Nissan car has great interior design. Engine very quiet. Power not bad. Just alittle shorter in length. Help me out here guys, any input is much appreciated. Thanks Ban Ban

hiyaz, due to increasing FC, i started modding my 2003 Idsi. Rite now, my list of mods include: 1. Closed Pod with CAi 2. SAFC2 3. 15" w BFG Sport rubbers all the other koyok stuff like e68, superione all take out already long ago, still FC not getting better than 13km/l. my driving is now like tortoise. 70% City 30% highway have tried mcwell, autodynamic, getting some guy to tune AFC but still not much success in getting better FE. (1)anyone here can advise what workshop to go to for diagnosis and recommendation? (2)anyone here know how to disable AFC - without losing all settings? thnaks

i am thinking to change the rim and tyre size of my city idsi (collecting 2 weeks later). I am thinking to change it (either one) 1. to a 15' sport rims 2. to a 14' sport rims. any comments from anyone. where should i change. i understand i can trade-in, how much will it cost me?

Truth is, would have plonged down deposit last week for City but undecided b/c of the very basic equipment level. To pay 7k+ more for an equivalent level as Vios, is too much for me esp when I don't mind not having a VTEC engine. Is it possible to order a City iDSI with 2SRS, ABS/EBD configuration? Any idea how much?
