  1. Today is the last day of Bukit Merah Library. I have a lot of fond memories of this library as I spent my childhood there. I remember a few forum members used to grow up around Redhill, Henderson and Bukit Merah areas. Want to catch up later there? @Angcheek, @Mustank and those I left out? Text me if you going.
  2. What exquisite pursuits do the ultra wealthy truly fancy? According to Bruce Wayne's personal butler, it would be "driving million dollar souped-up sports cars, dating movie stars, buying things that aren't for sale." As far as luxury real estate developer and boutique hotelier Satinder Garcha is concerned, amassing a treasure trove of rare vintage whiskies from around the world sure puts a smile on his face. Hence bear witness to The Whiskey Library at The Vagabond Club ( a hotel operating out of a series of restored historic shophouses which he owns by the way), where endless sleekly customized glass cabinets stocked with over a thousand carefully curated bottles of prized spirits stand tall in one astoundingly fashioned lobby lounge of sultry red, pink and brass. Indeed The Whiskey Library is Garcha's proud labor of love; admittedly he scoured the globe for a good two years, visiting countless distilleries and procuring top finds in far-flung places. Ardbeg Kildalton 2014, Old Pulteney 1983, Aberlour Single Malt Scotch and 32 year old Bunnahabhain from Scotland, '2018 Kirin Fuji-Gotemba 'Kunpu' Blended Whisky' , 'Kurayoshi 12 Year' Matsui Whisky and Mars IWAI Tradition Wine Cask Finish from Japan, Blood Oath Pact Bourbon from the US, Brighton Gin from the UK and Star of Bombay from Sri Lanka.......suffice to say the inventory cultivated is sheer staggering. https://www.theluxebrigade.com/whiskey-library-at-vagabond-club
  3. http://en.rocketnews24.com/2015/01/13/youll-never-guess-what-these-chinese-students-are-lining-up-for/ You’ll never guess what these Chinese students are lining up for! Hayashi 'Fang' Hougi6 hours ago 0 Ever since Mr. Sato returned from his annual overnight vigil to obtain an Apple Lucky Bag, we learned that humans are able to withstand adverse conditions in queues driven solely by their utmost desire for something. Just look at these Apple lovers who braved snowfor their favorite brand! So when you see these students in China lining up, we bet your guess is that they are getting $1 TVs…or concert tickets for the latest K-pop star…or perhaps a free iPhone. The answer, however, is none of the above; these students are in fact lining up to… …get into the library! What you see are students from the Nanjing University of Finance and Economics queuing up, not for free food or a sale, but to get a spot in the library so they can study for their finals! The pictures were taken at about 7:40 AM and the diligent crowd has formed into long, snaking lines leading to the doors of the library. Note that in Nanjing the temperature drops to 2℃ (35°F) and the grass and leaves around the building were all covered in frost. As the final exams draw near, many students find themselves most productive when studying in the warm library. In order to meet student demands, the school has extended library hours and also dispatched staff members to manage the lines so that students can waste no time in getting into the library in an orderly fashion. As someone whose primary activity in the library has always been napping, I am starting to feel a little ashamed of myself for not studying harder. Maybe it’s time I hit up my school library which doesn’t require freezing in a queue to get into. Did this inspire you to work just a little harder?
  4. Hey guys!!! Check this out!!! Fap fap fap in libarary!!!!! Dear The Real Singapore, I want to share with your readers of a video I took at Woodlands Library. This China guy is watching pornographic materials on his phone in the library and I was shocked that he started touching himself right in front of us. I also caught him throwing glancing at my girlfriend while 'pleasuring' himself. Whenever he stares at my girlfriend he will touch himself faster. I am shocked and totally apalled by this sort of public indecency behaviour. Isn't it illegal to do this kind of thing in public? I am not saying that guys shouldn't PCC but I don't think they should PCC in a public library while watching pornographic material so openly and worse keeps staring at my girlfriend while doing that. He was touching himself for more than 5 minutes and he only stop when I went to confront of him of what he is doing and ask him to stop. The Chinese national does not seem to understand what I was saying at first because he does not seems to understand English but understood what I said when I started scolding him in mandarin. He then quickly left the library without saying anything. Even though he is not aggressive and rude, I think such behaviours should not be accepted in public. This is the first time in my entire life that I have seen someone doing something like that in public. I have recorded a short 10 second clip of what he is doing below. What do your readers think? < Video link: http://vimeo.com/108968525 > http://therealsingapore.com/content/video-dear-trs-i-saw-prc-guy-pleasuring-himself-woodlands-library http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/eat-drink-man-woman-16/prc-masturbates-woodlands-library-4846036-4.html http://vimeo.com/m/108968525
  5. STOMP Power sockets in library all sealed up: How come public can't use them?
  6. Just watch it on the evening news of the newly open Seragoon library. First hello kitty, now library??? What next???....: (
  7. Feb 17, 2011 Traumatic experience at library LAST Saturday, just as my two children and I were leaving the Marine Parade Library, the alarm sounded. We went back in and came out again but the alarm still sounded. There were a few people entering and leaving at the same time. The security officer asked us, a woman and a boy aged about 11 to go to the counter to have our library materials checked. The counter staff member told us to put all our library materials and loan receipts on the table. There was nothing wrong with our books, but she found that a CD-ROM that the boy had borrowed was overdue. She berated him and insisted that he pay the fine of $3.50. Surely there was no need for her to be so harsh with him. She also treated the rest of us harshly. The library should ensure that its staff are trained to handle such a situation. The experience was traumatic for all of us, especially the children. Rosie Zaiton Mohammed (Ms) Found guilty and kena fark can turn around and say until traumatic. Roti prata people.
  8. Met this idiot latio driver. I turned into a car park lane and i was in the wrong direction. my fault. Couldn't see the marker on the road as it just rained and some street lights were not working. But heh, the lane is big enough for more than 2 lorries. I don't have a gigantic car, and he is driving a latio. Despite that i've already moved to the side, he has to high beam so many times at me. is he expecting others to drive properly with this high beam hitting their eyes. And he has to drive in the centre of the lane, hitting my side mirror when we passed. what ths f***
