  1. bro and sis, when we talking to someone, are we should talk in different manner to different people? example: - when you talk to stranger/ same/ higher level then you, you talk polite, maybe to show that you have high education, good family background, etc. - when you talk to your employee/ lower level then you, you talk like you own this world, etc... do you often see/ meet that kind of people?
  2. Yesterday, I sat down with my set lunch at TP Hub Burger King. While retrieving some stuff from bag, I noticed two old ladies, one who is in a wheelchair at the next table. Suddenly, the one not in wheelchair stood up and slowly made her way to the next table occupied by an Indian guy as he was leaving. I noticed she took a cup of unfinished ice-cream from the guy's tray, put it on her table and proceeded to clear his tray. She made her way back to her table and started eating the ice-cream without bating her eyelids. I was momentarily . After I regained my composure, I approached her to give her my lunch. To preserve her pride, I told her all I wanted was actually a cup of hot tea but it came in a set meal. I asked if she could help me finish my burger and french fries. She kept asking if I am sure, I reassured her and told her that I would be grateful if she could help me. I went back to my table and have my drink. Then a PRC lady came up to her and gave away her burger saying that she had gotten the wrong item too. I sat down, have my tea and started to ponder. For those who have bought lunch for poor folk that you encountered, have you come across someone with such strong character? If yes, how did you handle it? I wondered if there is a better and graceful manner to treat them to a meal.
  3. Do you drive in a zig zag manner, weaving between the three or even four lanes ? how many of you do it on a daily basis ? why i am asking is because, i do (for long time), and although i believe i am a safe driver, i am not sure if this is alright. Dont lambast me, i really do it safely but out of impatience. Consensus please.
  4. This is soooo hilarious......enjoy the poem! This is the best and most civil way to have a fight between husband and wife instead of resorting to physical force... Poems written by WIFE and HUSBAND. WIFE: I wrote your name on sand it got washed. I wrote your name in air, it was blown away. Then I wrote your name on my heart & I got Heart Attack. HUSBAND: God saw me hungry, he created pizza. He saw me thirsty, he created Pepsi. He saw me in the dark, he created light. He saw me without problems, he created YOU. WIFE: Twinkle twinkle little star You should know what you are And once you know what you are Mental hospital is not so far. HUSBAND: The rain makes all things beautiful. The grass and flowers too. If rain makes all things beautiful Why doesn't it rain on you? WIFE: Roses are red; Violets are blue Monkeys like u should be kept in zoo. Don't feel so angry you will find me there too Not in cage but laughing at you ...for in the end, the wife will always have her last say.
  5. Hi all, I wonder who still pay respect to their senior and parents by saying " Father eat, mother eat, big brother eat, elder sister eat and etc" when eating together? I was pleasantly amused when I was invited over for a family dinner with a wealthy businessman at his house. The father machiam big boss in the company and everyone must pay their due respects before moving the chopsticks. They even have to acknowledge my presence and say "Uncle XYZ eat". These are adults not some young children. Well done . Regards,
