  1. Would like to tap the vast expertise and wisdom of fellow forumers here on what computer notebook you will recommend to buy, as am out of touch with the latest development. It should be very thin and light, and must not cost $500k (a la bank speak) ? Also, is it advisable to get windows 8 now ? Thanks mates.
  2. Newbie just started to read about wheels. Is there any functionality difference between wheels with thin (more number, about 10) and thicker/wider (5 or 6) spokes. Tried to search but haven't found any. Is it just cosmetic? Any difference in toughness? Eg if go over pothole which type has higher fail risk or same? TIA

  4. Dear Starlet folks, Would like to find out from you guys if you have tried using thinner engine oil on older engines. If you have used a thinner oil, did you experience a significant improvement in FC? Have you experienced any bad side effects when you use e.g. 5W30 compared to the thicker 5W40? Thanks for sharing.
  5. 165/50/R17 on a 'sport' car? I searched the web...its a common size for Motorcycle tyres!
  6. Read an article on Web, it said 5W20 qood pumpability in cold weather but increase mechanical wear because too thin the oil. Although it does not shear as much as 5W30 oil but when engine reaches the ambient temperature and it's vicosity will begin to thin out resulting in less protection. Some oil are added with moly to prevent frition and thinner oil has less resistance in engine that deliver better fuel consumption. But thicker oil will give you better protection, So which to choose, better milage or better protection.
  7. And also balsa wood board (tose for making model plane, light and hard)..... So that I could paste it over custom cut balsa board, wrap with material, and stick it up so that I have a soft surface..... thanks
