guys, anyone has the email address of the MD of VW?

Mr Steffen Schwarz, 42, Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Singapore

Got his picture also, but no email. Maybe can camp outside VCS and ambush him?

thank you. I will give it a shot tonight

Am not sure if an email to him would achieve anything. My guess is many would have done so before you and if VW is serious about solving the complaints, they would have done so yores ago. Nevertheless all the best. [thumbsup]

CC is ok. The SE shd explain to you that CC 2.0TSI is using 6Speed DSG, same as GTI. The problematic ones are the 7-speed DSG. Unless the SE also dun know that the CC is using 6-speed? [sweatdrop]

But the one I test drove was a 1.8 which comes with the 7 speed DSG

Turbocharged

again!! really feel for you.

how many days you get to drive your own car in a month?

my neighbor still driving the courtesy Passat. its with him for the 3rd week already.

Supercharged

somewhat agree.

For such a long car, long wheelbase ride, they give you a pathetic rear torsion beam and simply stiffened the suspension to give it a more planted feel.

If T brand is a must for you, pay $10K more for the Auris. Don't waste time.

auris not so spacious, no rear ac vents, drl one bulb lesser than altis, though i also prefer it to altis.

[thumbsup]

seriously bro i thk u hv done ur very best to salvage the situation, simi Case, simi MCF discussion, simi email their MD, if me i wld jus sell n treat it as a nightmare.

right now stil got chance to quickly sell since relatively new. with new jetta prices dropping, the longer u hold the more u wil lose only.

the pricing for my car dropped thru the floor with the COE decrease, I'm in for 35K loss if I let go now. since I still am warranty period..thinking of just driving it till it breaks.

Kudos to your patience. I rather leave it at the carpark to rot. Don't feel safe driving.

not trying to sway u or anything, jus fr another financial pt of view here.

act u bite the bullet now or sell later, the 35k loss is not going to change. u can suffer a few more yrs, hoping to reduce the outstanding but by then no more warranty, u try sell it, no one in the industry wil dare eat a vw.

all the best.

Agree.... If I get that lemon, I would even downgrade to a 2nd hand car just to get rid of it.....
