Turbocharged

BTW, you can tell @Porker I'm 90kg and look like crap. I can live with that. Haha. [:p]

Yup that line is old. Someone once told me she weighs 200lbs. Can you try something new?

Anyway I'm ugly. Really ugly. But I have a heart of gold just like Unker Fong.

Twincharged

Have been using the SJ4000. Even the night time videos also quite good. But got to sandpaper the surfaces of the hinges for the mounts that are provided before using cuz the surfaces are too smooth and even after I tighten very tightly, there is not enough friction and the camera can still move about the hinge. After I sanded the inner surfaces of the hinges on the mount the camera isn't moving even when I try and push it with my hands.

@BabyBlade I learnt of a new location to mount the GoPro on the helmet....on the chinbar. Apparently the best place to keep it out of the windblast and aerodynamically more efficient.

I've got trackdays at Sepang on the 12/13th of July, I might go dig up some mounts and give it a shot.

On the chinbar? Isn't it gonna be damn weird looking?

Btw, your gopro files are saved in what format? Quicktime? Trying to use Windows Movie Maker to edit the videos but one is Apple, one is Windows so...... -_- And can't dl a single program to my computer.

I'm referring to my SJ4000 anyway - the GoPro lookalike. Yet to find extra cash to get one GoPro since I've already spent the extra cash on my Babyblade.

An update.

I've made an order for the Replay XD PrimeX. It's the latest version of the ReplayXD series.

Oh I missed this post. Shoots in .mov and after edit convert to .mp4. Gopro has their own downloadable software for editing

Yeah I've got a hero 3 black. Use it mostly for diving but I also have a mount on my helmet which I use occasionally. Sticks out quite a fair bit though, and wind noise even with a waterproof casing on is pretty loud.

You go how fast, how come windnoise?

I saw some riders mount it on top of helmet but it looks like a sore thumb sticking out. Did you try mount it beside your ear position on the side of your helmet?

I heard SJ4000 is way cheaper than GoPro yet does the job almost as good as the latter, true?

I may try strapping it on my shoulder (still figuring how to do it), or sometimes i wear a neckbrace (foam thingy which wraps my neck, fastened with velcro) i could also mount it at the side of the brace just slightly below ear position.

I am also interested to do chin-bar-mount, have you found a suitable mounting device?
