Odyssey02 Clutched July 4, 2006 Share July 4, 2006 1. Honda is reowned for its reliability. 2. Good quality vehicles. 3. I've got relatives driving honda's all the while. 4. Engines are well-engineered. 5. Odyssey was the best choice for me since it had a more sporty look and engine compared to a rather dull spacewagon which is famous for its GDI engine problems. 6. Overall liking towards Honda?
Jusnel 6th Gear July 4, 2006 Share July 4, 2006 oh pls, bro! toyota???? give me 3 plus pts abt toyota that honda doesn't have? besides the cheapo price?
Jusnel 6th Gear July 4, 2006 Share July 4, 2006 there nothing toyota can win honda except cheapo price...... even the lowest model. Vios versus City i took a very close look at both cars in the showrooms, test-drive Vios. And now i know why there is a 10k price diff between them. Vios is cheapo interior, everything inside is cheapo. even the gear stick and hand brake handle. Vios engine layout is cheapo also. looks like a mess. City is entirely different. though it also thai made, but the finishing and engine layout looks like japan made quality. its hard to explain. got to sit inside both cars adn see it personally. then ppl will understand. Genie47 1st Gear July 4, 2006 Share July 4, 2006 The reason why people choose Honda is their first encounter with a Honda bike. It starts like this..... You are walking by the side of the dark road and then you see this closely knit pair of headlights from a distance approaching. Then the unforgettable sound that goes HOnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn (and as it zooms pass your) DAAAAaaaaaaaa.......

IMHO, your choice of a Ferrari over a Honda is out of context. We are or at least the majority felt that he is comparing the among the Jap cars, though he may not be clear as you've mentioned. 2. Toyota does have Lexus but Honda has Acura, in case you aren't aware of it. Please seewww.acura.com, this is the upmarket version of Honda. Nutty 4th Gear July 4, 2006 Share July 4, 2006 By the way, what are the luxury cars under the Acura branding? I believe Integra is branded under Acura in US, right?
Odyssey02 Clutched July 4, 2006 Share July 4, 2006 i think its known as the Acura RX there.
Kelpie 2nd Gear July 4, 2006 Share July 4, 2006 By the way, what are the luxury cars under the Acura branding? I believe Integra is branded under Acura in US, right? I think you are talking about Acura RSX Type S, a 200bhp, 2.0 i-VTEC 4 seaters. Acura top end is the RL model, a 290bhp, 3.5L VTEC V6 engine 5 seaters, featuring super handling all wheel drive. Goldpen Neutral Newbie July 4, 2006 Share July 4, 2006 Doing a survey on Honda cars. Please answer these qns for me. Thanks Why do you choose a Honda over other brands? What specific feature(s) of the brand attracted you? Why does it stand out from other brands for you? After so long of reading this forum.. finally my virgin post.... ha ha Well for me bro....after test driving a couple of cars (vios/mazda/mitsubishi) I finally decide to go for a Lancer Sport Edition (2nd Hand) On the day i'm suppose too sign the agreement and pay the deposit... i chance upon a Honda VTI manual. In order to be fair to myself... I decide to take it for a spin and see how it measure up against the rest. To cut a long story short, after the test drive.. I paid the deposit and the next day I drove the Honda home.... For me... its the driving experience that is hard to explain (no offense to other car driver) maybe its just me... a strut bar..and a 16 inch low profile tyre later... the ride just get so much sweeter... Now I'm looking forward to my next Honda Ride...
Kelpie 2nd Gear July 4, 2006 Share July 4, 2006 i think its known as the Acura RX there. In States, S2000 is market under the Honda brand, 237bhp, 2L DOHC VTEC. You don't find S2000 in the Acura line. Acura is Honda's penchant for building high-performance and luxury class vehicles. I wonder when would they make a presence here since they have been in USA for the past 20 years. Regards,
Odyssey02 Clutched July 4, 2006 Share July 4, 2006 doubt they would establish it in Singapore since most sales would be stolen by Lexus due to brand conscious Singaporeans. ↡ Advertisement
