nah.. going thru richs and glams for most of those people..

The vows need to have a tweak..

However, I'm glad that my other half is willing to share a lot of things towards our path of going thick and thin....

but Oh my, she does hope that I can be thin and not so thick in the waist [laugh]

i know of a fren who is getting hitched soon and she was flaunting to me on how much her bf is gonna spend on the wedding.. i casually asked how much she is gonna lose and guess what she told me?

"why should i pay since he is the one who wants to marry me?" unsure.gifshocked.gif

i deduce that if another guy comes along and could offer a better "package", there she goes..

i mean dun she want to marry the guy too? is it like a 1-sided thing?

apparently she didn't realise the fact that the guy is spending money which she will have a share in after marriage..

well.. she is the kind of gorgeous.gif who believes that..

your money is my money..

my money is my money.. unsure.gif

No problem, ultimately it will be the DIVORCE lawyer who will get most of the money in such case! [sly][laugh][laugh]

Tiffany at 6k for 0.4carat?

Unlikely you can get it.

Other jewellers you will have no issues. Reason is simple.

Tiffany took the best of the lots of quality diamonds out in the ww market. In fact, all the top 10% if I remember right.

A diamond ring of VSS2 and D colour of 0.3 carat already sets you back 4-5k. And the price bracket is very much dependend on carat size range. A jump to a certain carat will see u jump exponentially as well in prices. Its not linear.

Advice: go for the more common breeds one. Soo Kee, Lee Hwa .. etc. There, 0.4 will satisfy her.

If not, like what panda say, good for u. If yes, good for you too.. :)

Sounds familiar.. keke

it depends actually, we will not be able to know what is actually going on behind or what the couple is thinking.

If a gal actually depend on the diamond ring or car or house to get married, I think its understandable.. to a certain extent. When a gal gets married, unlike guys, her value will depreciates over time. That is where women charter comes in.

I'm not in total agreement over it as some people will bring this overboard.

So, if a gal ask me for an engagement ring, and leave me to decide and she will love it for her life.. i get her a .75 carat one. But, if she says she wanted a 0.4carat one from tiffany, i will get a 0.25 carat one from Lee Hwa.

Why?

Coz, this is juz the beginning........... or the end... kekeke

Well... that is how u think, not the rest of the ladies...

Also, wedding dinners are for your parents, as well as your spouse's parents.

hehe.. its the intent i'm looking at... not the carat.

also, the bearing of how much carat should not and does not proportionately matches that of how much the love is....

Also, i think gentlemanly, i will give with my heart and soul attached to the ring.. as my proclamation of love, not money.... :)

That includes my bad habits and tempers...

Guess I'm dreaming already?... awahahahaha

yes!! i think that is the most important.. the ring can be a simple one, as long as it comes with the sincerity and attached with the heart and soul.. it is the most priceless and fantastic that one could ever ask for.

if it does not come with the intend, then it makes no difference, because it is just another diamond ring. unimpressed.gif

see, that's the whole problem with parents when they insisted on having lavish dinner so as to 'save' face.

c'mon, as long as the couple is in luv, it's all that matters.

thk god my parent r cool abt such stuffs & let me do whatever i want.
