Roberttan 5th Gear January 20, 2019 Share January 20, 2019 Heavy, noisy, costly,.....but it is much safer than normal tyre Run flat tire Heavy yes (against total weight of car and Passenger is negligible) Noisy yes (some normal tire has noise issue) Costly yes (if you buy the Correct tire is not as costly as we think) Safer Yes. 100% yes In the Event of Sudden lost of Tire pressure you will know. Your car can continue drive for 80km even your Tire pressure Drop to Zero.

Rskc 5th Gear June 29, 2019 Share June 29, 2019 Any bros used both Bridgestone T001 RFT and Pirelli P7 Cinturato RFT before? How do they compare especially on road noise? Both are touring tyre I guess. Please don't ask me to go non-RFT. RFT saved me on couple of occasions.

Rskc 5th Gear June 29, 2019 Share June 29, 2019 BS 001 on 5er seems not so noisy PC P7 on 4er seems better braking depends on which model you driving also Thanks bro. Am getting X1 F48. Suspect it comes with BS T001. Nvr used T001 before but did not have good experience with previous other BS RFT. Had BS ecopia (i think) RFT stock 16" from PML on F30. It was really crap. Noisy. It even wobbled during just a little hard cornering (ya side wall probably too thick). For aesthetic and drive, I took the plunge to upgrade to 18" with P7 and loved it. Very good in both wet and dry and FC even stayed the same! Noise level went down too. Now contemplating driving straight to tyre shop to trade in the T001 for P7 after getting the X1. But if T001 is good, I may just stay with it and try it out. Just afraid once I used and don't like the tyres, there will be no more trade in value.
