Recently, I get a couple of scam email, purporting to send my "receipts".

One is a xls file, the other is a doc file.

 

At first I tried to open xls file, thinking it might be from my website payment, but couldn't open.

 

Then I realized it might be some scam files or virus.

 

So I deleted. Then another one today.

 

They look "official" looking.

 

Just be aware, especially if you think it might be some receipts for what you did recently..it might slip your mind.

I regular receive emails from fake paypal saying my account has be limited, locked due to some suspicious activity. Ask me to furnish 'them' with my personal info to unlock them..

 

I checked my paypal account and it's still ok.

Beware of fake email about filing tax returns from MOH

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has called for members of the public to be on the alert for a phishing email.

 

Entitled "Healthcare.gov: Important Healtcare Notification [#02015]", the email refers to the filing of 2015 tax returns, and asks recipients to click on the link provided to verify their healthcare status, said MOH on its Facebook page.

 

MOH advises the public not to respond to the email, or click on any of the links or attachments.

 

Recipients are instead urged not to open the email, and delete it.

My office email always spam by mills from china. I picked one...state own company..

sent them an inquiry. Received a quote at Super high price. Trying to find Robert...Kept email me for offer feedback

 

Told them price was more than double I'm getting. Then she revised price 50% lower said cny promotion...lolx

I told her don't bother email me again

Received this in my email... asking me to put in my standchart account to open up the PDF.... :blink:

for me, I prefer banks to write letter to me to inform me, cos hard copy is quite likely genuine.

Anything, banks will always send hardcopy though they don't have to sign on it...

Still an official letter with letter head is good enough for me :)
