Little_prince Supersonic August 6, 2012 Share August 6, 2012 i tried taking CLA but seems to make my tummy cramp and often feel like going toilet due to the bulk feeling it gives. what about raspberry ketones? havent try yet though. i am 173cm. my weight was 74kg and i dropped to 66kg in 4 mths. during the 4 mths, i did jogging 4 times a week, 4.5km 1 round. i also eat sensibly to feel full, avoid snack and carbo as much as possible especially at night. i would like to drop further to 60kg but wondering how to do it! recently i started to add new exercise regimen like swimming and probably taking planned 12km normal walk during weekends. what else can i do next? Wow bro. That's v gd liaoz. I from abt 78 drop to 72/3. Now plateau... ↡ Advertisement
Sp4wn Turbocharged August 6, 2012 Share August 6, 2012 been working out *almost* consistently for the last 6 months (3x gym for weights + 1x jogging a week). 170cm, used to be about 64kg. currently about 59.5 ... my gauge for progress is my pull ups. before starting, i could do a max of 6 (army days was about 13-14) ... currently at 10-11 depending on how hard i feel like pushing myself. i've been following this regiment for nearly 6 months and i have to say, the results are pretty decent: http://www.askmen.com/sports/bodybuilding/...te-workout.html it is almost impossible to do more than 4 exercise because after that, your body will be in a lot of pain. however, i can personally speak for the results (but note that before i embarked on the program, i was already working on casually 1-2x a week, so it wasnt too difficult to switch to this routine). after each session, depending on the intensity, ill follow up with either 1 or 2 scoops of protein (the basic gold standard stuff) if i feel like it, ill follow up with a half hour brisk walk. lastly, ive made it a point to control my diet as well. no soft drinks unless im watching a movie. no unhealthy stuff for breakfast (mainly proteins + a glass of soya milk) for either lunch or dinner, ill cut out rice/noodles/bread ... ie if i order mixed vegetables for lunch, ill ask for more protein and *no* rice. (but only for 1 meal a day, otherwise sure die la if no rice) my main issue is the belly. pretty hard to get rid of it, so currently, im focusing on strength conditioning and ill eventually switch to cardio/ fat burning down the road. Porker Turbocharged February 14, 2013 Share February 14, 2013 aiya, i know your output > input theory. I just curious why they say only high fat but not high protein diet? Because its easier to eat high fat and not high protein!

Chickenbackside 1st Gear February 14, 2013 Share February 14, 2013 Because its easier to eat high fat and not high protein! That might not be true for all, but high fat is an excellent way of caloric restriction. That's why I can only eat 1 meal a day. Imagine you put away half a block of butter together with a small piece of steak. Let's be generous and say the butter is 1000 kcal and the steak is 200 kcal. That's 1200 kcal. When do you think you will get hungry after eating that 1/2 block of butter and small steak. 2 hours? 3 hours? Try it.

Chickenbackside 1st Gear February 14, 2013 Share February 14, 2013 (edited) But it is better to eat a. 1/2 block butter and small steak - 1200 kcal or b. large steak - 1,200 kcal also. Assuming only taking one meal a day. You try. For me, I can eat 4 large steaks even, and I will get hungry faster than if I ate a small steak and lots of butter. The satiety is different for me. It really depends on your character. Some people would rather eat whatever they want but in very small quantities to control their weight. I'm not like that. I like to eat til I'm absolutely stuffed. I feel damn satisfied and have zero desire to snack between meals. Even if I consume 3000 calories in that 1 meal I eat (not likely if you eat real whole food), I will still be in a caloric deficit or break even. Chickenbackside 1st Gear February 14, 2013 Share February 14, 2013 Whichever allows him to eat less. My point is, eat real whole foods in a manner that allows you to eat less permanently is the way you should eat.
