Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 Err.........Koup using torsion bar as rear sus? i tot i oni see those in a Vios :P Torsion Beam is a cheap alternative to using spring as a suspension.... the twisting motion of the beams is adequate enough to absorb most bumps on the road.... it's light, and saves space especially in the wheel housing and does not take up much boot space.... even the Alphard uses Torsion Beam suspension for the rear.... ↡ Advertisement

Sony 1st Gear June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 if you don't know what i'm talking about, pls don't misinterpret me.... comparing the Koup with the roc, obviously those who can afford the Roc will go for one, but for people on a budget who wants a stylish 2dr coupe, the Kia Koup will do the trick for them.... don't force me to take drastic action on you.... Oh. Let me ask then. What drastic action? Pray tell And I'm quoting your remark for future legal proceeding as well. I felt threatened already
Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 if you felt threatened by that statement, all your other statement against me SHOULD be labeled as slandering??? i won't take action for now, only when you provoke, will i then show no mercy.... Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 not sure about that, cos from what i saw, there's a mix of male and female for the Scirocco, more in the ratio of 70:30 respectively....

Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 Torsion beam is enuf for bread & butter car. Is Koup bread & butter car?? if you're referring to the price, then yes, the Koup is a bread and butter car.... however, if you're referring to the styling of the car, does it look like an Altis (bread and butter car) to you??? Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 i won't attack unless when provoked..... and getting back to the topic, the Kia Koup isn't a sports coupe, it's just a coupe, and a rear torsion beam suspension will suffice.... afterall, Kia is a budget brand, and a simple no-frills suspension system (cheap to make, cheap to replace, reduces weight of the car, increases boot space wherever possible) like a torsion beam fits it nicely i reckon.... Cheers!!!

Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear June 5, 2010 Share June 5, 2010 erh, even the Honda City uses torsion beam for the front leh.... i don't think the new Verna would be using multi-link.... torsion beam makes more sense.... Cheers....
