i'd be honest and say... i almost wanted to sell my car for a Scirocco when it was launched... happy that i didn't.. not knocking on the VW though, but i think the appeal somehow faded too quickly for me. Test drove it and didn't like the feel of the car

I thought it was a good car, but only for the 2L not the 1.4L. The handling was a let-down. Also it feels a bit claustrophobic. Pros are its looks, low running cost, and ok power. I think many people buy it because of the batch.
