Apple only come out w new model every yr...unlike the major brand competitors...

 

thats why when the new phone is out, ppl r so eager for it.

 

i believe u can get similar specs from other brands of phones too.

 

the only reason why u want to buy Apple is because u can JB it and u like Apple.

the only reason i buy ipone is not because i can JB it and not because i like Apple.

 

The only reason is because Apple is currently the only Smartphone provider that support the whole phone as a package. And allow me to tweet with the setting on PC. (google whole package but everything done through hand phone and paid apps not in singapore yet.)

 

In short, its very hazard free.

You can root Android phones also. Root is JB, Android speech. Moderator Genie rooted his HTC Dream also. I have not tried yet since I have no use for paid apps at this point in time.

I am abit weird. i dont like to do JB and root.

Reason being i buy this 2 phone because of the convient of 1 stop station hence if i want to root or JB, it will defeat the purpose of me getting the phone.

Thats the reason why dont want get the CB phone..... after I realise the CB phone in US selling only US$199 ( saw SJ talking at one of the launch..... NOT US$399, NO NOT US$299... YES, IT IS ONLY US$199).........here no contract S$1000++........... NBzzz CB......

LTE is actually also in Singapore Market liao.. See M1, Starhub and Singtel website.. just that it is for mobile broadband users only.. Some 4g phones are launched in US already.. HTC EVO 4g is one of them..

 

Iphone4 is slow compared to HTC desire or HTC Evo 4g.. Processor and Internet browsing.

 

Iphone cannot support alot of video(imagine converting a 1gb movie) and music format. You cant send songs to your friend.

 

Iphone do not support flash.. There are tons of flash contents like games, video and animation in the net.

 

Resoultion does not mean anything. LCD lighting is actually more important.

 

Thin phone.. OMG.. sure damn fragile.. My HTC HD2 11mm i also think too thin liao..

 

Screen not as big as HTC HD2 and HTC EVO 4g..

 

Most ppl think that there are alot of Iphone apps.. Tell you a secret, Android got almost the same number of apps.. what's more, alot of android apps are free..

 

The money paid for a Iphone are mostly paying for the marketing and branding..

 

I do not know abt this iphone4 but past generation Iphone do not have good reception and do not have good phone call quality.

 

Facetalk is a app that is only usable on wifi network.. Not like your 3g video call and its only iphone to iphone..

 

I will want to see if Iphone 4 supports multitasking and it is able to be like HTC desire or my HTC HD2 that can open more than 5-10 apps without lagging..

 

I also want to see the so call HD video recording whether the quality if good or not..

To set the record right. US$199.00 for 16GB is for 2 years plan with their Telcom.
