The ride is nice, stable and there is steering feel, which is good as these cars tend to be a bit light. Good throttle response, and a real good B&B car...with lots of bells n whistles..... Designwise, you gotta see it in the flesh to appreciate the lines and the build of the car. In my opiniion, a winner no doubt Hi Radx! How did u find the brakes, i felt it was too squishy and soft it wun slow down when u tap it. Really need to depress it to feel any braking effect. Sales Exec sales brakes too new needs to wear in. Japanese worths more money is a truth but they may not worth as much as the Korean in terms of the overall packaging... Nowadays, the Korean can give equal or more than what the Japanese provide at lower cost without sacrificing the quality... Yes, I will do that as well. Get Camry, sell and buy K5. If a Cayman owner has no complaints about the brakes after being so used that kind of stopping power then it should be normal. Friendstar Supercharged February 7, 2011 Share February 7, 2011 (edited) even my prev CX7 liddaat.....could be characteristic of these makes u'r absolutely right. some makes like toyota like to have their brakes very very firm. i.e. u tap slightly and the car will slow like mad. to me its slightly too sensitive for day-to-day driving. i like my honda brakes, its the so-called squishy feeling, don't get me wrong, the brakes are still effective, just that it is less sensitive and u needa depress it more. for day-to-day driving, i think its more comfortable for passengers. if there's a need for e-brake, just slam the blardy pedal lah. A good news and bad news For those who are interested in the high specs, the following items will be added in. Paranomic roof, HID, 6 air bags, wood trims, factory reverse cam (integrated into rear view mirror), ventilated seats with factory leather seats, supervisor claster meter. The equipment level is extremely high for D-segment car with only a 2.0L engine. There is simply no competition in this category when it comes to equipment. Even entry-level luxury makes don't have such a high equipment list. For another 10k, you do get a lot of stuff but what about the 2.4L engine? Komoco charges 7K more for the i45 2.4L but it has much less equipment. I sure some buyers would prefer to pay 7k more for a 2.4 K5 with less equipment rather than 10K more for a 2.0 with lots and lots of luxury equipment. I understand the need to market a car differently and in this case they can safely say, they have the best equipped 2.0 D-segment in the market but there are buyers who prefer a more powerful engine in exchange for having less luxury equipment.
