Can't help but to ask "Why the downgrade?"

If it's some personal reason, then forget I asked.

Seriously, the drive and feel of a BMW is something that everyone else tries to copy.

i wonder how entry level BMW (1,2,3) series fare against M6 in terms of driving dynamics and cabin finishing...any idea?

Wow, [thumbsup]  from BMW M5 downgrade to Mazda 6,such a far Cry [bigcry] ...you may want to check the PCD & Offset,is the same or not,or else just buy new Rims.

Thanks for the advice, bro. I think I will stick with the 17" as I downgrade to save cost.

Hi bros,

Good news if not already known ...

Apple carplay/Android Auto upgrade at sgd452 is now available at Ubi only ... no concern on warranty then.

Booked for 2 Feb since only Sat for me with wife driving to work on weekend.

Cheers.

Richard

Wifey called to clarify about the installation of AA/ CP, and apparently this requires a wired connection to the phone in order to work.

I'm not familiar with this phone integration thingy (beyond bluetooth so I can make and receive calls).

Could someone educate me if AA/ CP on other cars uses a wired connection or standard bluetooth connection?

As my car 525i E60 is nearly 10 years, I need to get a new replacement car. Being a retiree with not much cash flow, I do not want to spend too much on a car now. I am not much of a car person. Mazda 6 looks great on both the interior and the exterior. Drive-wise is fine with me not to compare with my current 5-series.

That is the 2GT...The proper 2 Series are 2 Doors Couple...

My take is Mazda 6 interior is much better in all aspects. The drive compares to BMW entry level class is subjective. Generally M6 gives you an overall wholesome comfort but may not be as fulfilling as BMW which somewhat gives you that 'raw' DNA power feel, it can be psychological.....the fact when you'e driving a BMW makes you drive with bigger pride & ego (this happened to me before....haha)

Almost the same situation here.....but with a much lower budget & a need for SUV height, so decided the outgoing Forester.

My highly subjective opinion so take with pinch of salt; Handling of RWD BMWs like the 3 series is still a bit better than M6. M6 handling is slightly better than the FWD BMW like the 2 and sDrive X1.

Finish is easy to compare and quite a personal preference. Mazda's finish is more frequently compared against Audi so that says alot.

Mazda 6 is Mazda 6, why call M6?

M6 is BMW.

Yep. Fully agree.

No disrespect to Mazda 6 but M6 is a car with some heritage.

So Mazda 3 has become M3 ?

Mazda 6 is Mazda 6, why call M6?
M6 is BMW.
