One noob question...

I was told that this is a safety feature, but somehow it slipped my mind and I did not ask further. Anyone know what is it called and how it works?

If not wrong, in the side door, there is a safety beam/bar. The hole acts as a anchor point, in order to hook and stop the beam/bar from crashing into the back seats.

Just booked a m6 today, there’s an offer going on for specific colours , managed to get an executive version for about 101k

Priced in the same range from a mid spec to high spec m3. Was initially keen on m3 but the attractive pricing of the m6 made it a more sensible choice for the family.

COE is guranteed as well, their open cat stock to facilitate the movement of the existing m6 models.

Think they have ex stocks to clear at good price. Definitely more worth it than mz3 in terms of size and coe. Congrats!

Yes, apparently the reason is largely due to the m3 launch, it has made the pricing and positioning of the m6 to go out of whack.

The M3 basic de is ard 93k unless u pre-booked the car the pricing is still abt 89k. initially go in was to see mz3 then end up FIL buy mz6.

He  bought the mazda 6 executive without trade in was 102,888 (1k for no trade-in) but gt nego abit with SE so they gave us 1 year road tax inclusive.

Executive and Std difference is only 3k nia

SE say tmrw the Mz6 executive price will increase cos they wanna diferentiate the MZ3 and mz6.

Hi.

Does it mean that if we have a car to trade in, the price is 101,888? Does this come with 3 years servicing or 1 year?

If you don't feel comfortable in saying this, maybe you can PM me if you don't mind....

It's probably true. They pull down the price to push sales after the gap on Mazda3, and the Mazda6 price is relatively low compared to other D-segment cars.

Anyway, we'll see in few more weeks :)

i always feel mazda pricelist not accurate. the price is really up to their management, the sales agreement write 114,800 then after discounr here and then become 102,888.

It's very common in today's market. Other Jepun and German marques are doing this. Give discount to list price, overtrade then voila!

Still their premiums are insanely high. I remember my Lancer EX first batch, CnC made 6k profit. Now ADs are making triple than this.

Nowadays komocco also.

Follow cycle and carriage. Pml. Etc style of pricing lor.

But then 102888 for mazda 6 exec. I tink its the best price for this ride liao.

Talking about d segment cars.

Competition are currently.

1. Accord

2. Camry

3. Insigina

4. Passat

Nowherre any of these come close to mazda 6 in pricing. Insignia i tink prob closest at below 110k.

So i am.not surprised to see mazda 6 selling so so well. Its by far the class leader in sales for d segment class in singapore past 2 yrs.

I tried to connect to the Blaupunkt dashcam through Wifi but the App (Android) complaint no connection. It's just simple A-B-C step, definitely cannot go wrong.

Initially I planned to submit warranty claim thinking it might be a faulty device.

Somehow I still tried to read the manual again, and I just found out that there is one Wireless Dongle need to connect to the dashcam, mine is not connected!  [sweatdrop]

Bring the dongle (it was inside the box), start engine, plug it in and tried to connect, damm failed again... disappointed.

Then I was thinking probably hot-plugging the dongle doesn't work due to the firmware design, so I stop engine, and restart again, so that the firmware initialized with the dongle plugged-in.

Tried to connect again, voila! Finally can see the videos on my phone  :a-good:

Conclusion: user problem  [:p]

I understand but the selling price is too close between Mazda 6 2.0 standard and Civic 1.6 (In Dec 18).
I believe most of the buyer will compare the car by price instead of engine power.
Civic 1.6 is a good car but the price is not justified with the spec and features.

yea i agree! the civic was going for 93k, not a bad drive, but the specs were cui. to start off with, only 2 airbags?? i went on to test an altis, not bad, civic drives better than the altis. and there came mazda 6. i got a darn good steal. soul red executive test drive model for $101,888. without a doubt, the mazda was a clear winner.
