Have you used both before? I owned a Hyundai Elantra and a Subaru Impreza before this current car... same quality... one made in Japan and the other made in Korea... no difference... after 5 years both are equally noisy.

Used to drive the Santa Fe..1st time using a MIK car..Year : 2005

Solid car but FC was a killer..Interior feel was average but engine noise became noisier after 3 years..

Changed to Toyota Vanguard : Year : 2009 , so much diff even after 5 yrs of abuse..used it to travel a lot for work from SG-KL-SG...

For a fairer comparison- Hyundai vs Toyota , Kia vs Honda , Daewoo(GM) vs Nissan. , Ssangyong vs Mazda n Samsung vs Subaru...

Wah , if like that compare , MIJ jiak kah liao

Not to put down MIK cars , MIJ cars really got the slight edge in terms of their yiu siu fittings n engine refinement...

Our local PIs will also import MIK cars too if only the Koreans can match those MIJ models..

After 3 yrs of usage , u compare the overall condition between a MIK n MIJ car , the truth hurts...

I will not debate the difference in quality/noise level between MIK and MIJ. But PIs did not bring in MIK is not because of quality, it is more because of

1. MIK cars do not have the JDM(KDM?) variance currently. As we could see most of the MIJ PI cars are JDM.

2. Korean ADs are making lower profits relatively, it will be very low margin for PIs to bring in similar cars to sell at lower price.

Today went down to Mazda showroom n look see with my frd.. quite crowded n festive mood all around maybe due to the small showroom..

The M6 FL 2 liter looks like bang for bucks @ 121k..

Depre abt 10-11 k / yr..

Think for 2000cc car segment , this M6 is a no brainer choice..

Hi Guys, am driving a Mazda 6 (2 liters) which I got a few months back. Am now thinking of changing rims.

1) Those who have done it, any impact to your fuel consumption 2) Seek your opinion, what rims did you get? Any pics?

Even better.. Is there like a FB page I can join for Mazda 6 owners?

There are 3 that I know of for Mazda, not specifically for 6.

Mazda Skyactiv Society

Mazda Club Singapore

SG Mazda Club

I compared Mazda interior with Honda Accord,Toyota Camry & Nissan Teana, their rear legrooms is just 25mm more, nothing to shout about, unless you compared it with the Merc S class or the BMW 7 series.

you are forgetting the AWD transmission hump. It's significantly taller than the rest.

FYI.. Mazda 6 2l going @119,800 guaranteed COE..

Colleague just confirmed yesterday..

Mazda has been very aggressive these few mths. They got Open COE on hand and willing to register cars immediately. Towards end of 2016, I suspected they trying to get into top 3 makes for the year cos Benz who was in 3rd for most part of the year, were within Mazda sights but I'm not sure if they managed to overhaul them eventually.

But seems like the aggressiveness has continued in the new year so maybe it's more to it than securing top 3 place. Anyway, their cars seem value for money. This Mz6 is right into Civic 1.5T price range and this is an executive car mind you and also the Mz3 deluxe pre facelift version also going for around $100k which means very small margins compared to the competition!
