Seriously, if you so afraid of inspection, just go to workshop and ask them rectify all things necessary for inspection, help you send to workshop also. You sure no one will buy that? my balls on the line leh.. but anyways you do have a point... agree with you... but because of the fact that i have pass regular vicom inspections without a cat (MANY times liao), i know it is just a visual check... thats why i dare to talk so big and sai lan... seriously have you yourself or you have withness a frd fail the inspection reason because of no cat?... i doubt so... maybe there is a misunderstanding here? if there is literally not cat at all... meaning after the extractors to the mid pipe is just a straight pipe, then YES sure fail... no need what emission test cause one look you know liao... but if the original shell is still there... the honeycomb has been knocked out... and the mid muffler and tail muffler are original or LTA approved and within the allowed sound range, AND the enigne is healthy in good condition, sure will pass... get it?.... Ken4555 1st Gear January 23, 2011 Share January 23, 2011 actually tinting is cool.. maybe after this full inspection, i'm going to tint inside too. making it more darker.. the sun are horrible lately. my long time friends just opened a car audio shop.... they do tinting also... i went to enquire and wah best price with quality tinting... if i opt for the cheap one even cheaper then i go to JB... so happy!... but my friend dont want to do for me... CB.... cause i want to 70+% tinting whole car... so bo pian i think when i free whole day i will go this shop i saw in Setia Idah... stuff look pretty cheap... keke... Ken4555 1st Gear January 23, 2011 Share January 23, 2011 ws/mech ok, 1st choice... go look for your own mech... if he doesnt do inspections, ask for referrals... if still dont have, go to all the ws that you have been to before... ask if can send for you car for inspection... if cannot ask for referrals... if all you ask liao still no lobang... then you ask here in forum... do you get my meaning at all? anyways just goolge LTM and drop by their ws and ask them for help with your inspection lah... nobody will tell you over this forum who will do a sure pass inspection for you... like nobody will tell you where you can modify your fuel gauge... or do engine number engraving... you understand anot??? Mockngbrd Supersonic January 24, 2011 Share January 24, 2011 which center you go? u kanna pull a fast one is it? cause my previous 15year old car pass all inspection with brandless muffler and brandless mid muffler also.... and i double confirm with the senior inspectors at the inspection center at AMK... he said for cars above 10years the muffler pass sound test can liao... i som pa... maybe your not noisy is 150dcb up... DEAR Mllcg.... definetly cannot... there is no free lunch in this world... and to pass you when suppose to fail, is illegal... its cheating... will go jail one... i dont know anyone at the inspection centers... and even if i did do you think i will tell you? i dont even know you... dont mind me being so straight forward... but only an idiot will tell give you this kinda of lobang.. btw things like HID and over tinting cannot siam one... good luck... 'when i buy the car already like this'............ although i hao siao.... it was a opaque quater window sticker... they fail my inspection and ask me come back again... so i use this reason... they ask me take out.. i say dunno how to leh... so in the end... they take out for me and let me pass my inspection.. no need go back 2nd time Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
