Ken4555 1st Gear January 26, 2011 Share January 26, 2011 Yup, the inspector did not check my headlight and window tint. He just drove in front of the machne and let the machine move in front of the headlight w/o turning on my headlights and then move to the next station to pass to next colleague and he went back up the queue to serve next customer. Its not my first time going for full inspection. Been doing it for my last two cars already. The below are the procedure : 1st station is overall check + chassis and engine number 2nd station is front and rear brake 3rd station is side slip 4th station is headlight 5th station is undercarriage 6th station is check window tint and get Pass cert. So remember to go at busy hour. you lucky lah... maybe your car look stock stock right?...
Ken4555 1st Gear January 26, 2011 Share January 26, 2011 next inspection is in mar. then the following march is next inspection. assuming i renew 6 months until sept, then i renew 1 year until next sept, inspection no need right? coz by the time road tax due, is next sept already. no it does not work like this... i thought at 1st like this can miss an inspection... but not so... new car 1st inspection 3rd year... then 5th year... then every 2years... then after 'birth cert' dies and renewed its every year how ever you pay your road tax... Ken4555 1st Gear January 26, 2011 Share January 26, 2011 factory Xenons/HIDs best wanted to get aftermarket projector head lamps for my car... but afraid of the quality leh... waht you think of eagle eyes?... u-yee?.... dont know will become blurr sooner than expected or water/moisture getting in... actually my frd's colt... the original headlamps are plastic... quite thin i felt with some knocks on it... she totally does not groom her car at all... only the rain washes her car... (only other car wash is when the car goes for servicing)... so you can imagine the condition of the car... dull and rough paintwork... stained windscreen and windows.... BUT the headlamps like SUPER crystal clear sia...
Adrianli Hypersonic January 26, 2011 Share January 26, 2011 you lucky lah... maybe your car look stock stock right?... Yup, overall my car look stock. Just some subtle changes which may not be visible. 1) Bonnet insulator 2) Illuminated Sills 3) Side mirror indicator 4) Fuel magnets 5) Neon boot light 6) Soundproofing wheel arc, fenders, firewall and entire floor pan 7) Nissan wipers on my Toyota 8) Voltage Stabiliser 9) Fog lights 10) Multiple car cameras Nothing fancy to attract the inspector's attention. Waiting to install Strut and sway bar.

Adrianli Hypersonic January 26, 2011 Share January 26, 2011 sway bar... haha... i prefer to call it anti-roll bar.... anyways Bro, can you pls tell me the benefits of a Bonnet insultor? To protect the paint work from water mark stain from the engine heat. My previous ride, sunny, has water mark stain due to heat from the engine when it rains. U could feel the difference of the bonnet after a drive. The insulated part is warm to touch, the sides will be warm-hot. My current car got no water mark stain unlike my previous sunny. Cost me just S$50 with installation. If u DIY, would be cheaper. ↡ Advertisement
