Your ride STI or STI A-Line? I heard from my a forumer A-line is like any other auto car with no engine braking. I.E when ur foot is off the gas pedal on D, the engine speed drops. I.E when ur foot is off the gas pedal on D, the engine speed drops. 6MT, tried the A-line as well, manual mode is nice with paddle shift (but i cant make myself to buy a car with only 5 spd.......... no offence), the auto mode like any other car......
