what is the latest package for 1.6L and 1.8L sylphy?

but made in thai.....quality issues of concern.

last time I have ask the SE is that for the DRL, instead of normal small white bulb, they upgrade free to LED DRL.

for sylphy is not really an issue, as they have improve from march & almera.

Sylphy made in Thai? You mean the brand new model or even the previous model? [:/]

Acording to sgcarmart info, previous gen Sylphy (1.5 and 2.0) were made in Japan.

The current 2013 version sold here are from Thailand.

read on the net...

1.6 engine - used in some latios ( not necessary the sg latio ), but with some improvements, so better efficiency.

1.8 engine - nissan spent new money developing it to power this model. more efficient than the 1.6

transmission - nissan's workhorse cvt.

read that Nissan just got recall. For airbag problem or something.

Also, CVT. any issues?

i may be wrong...only test drove a used sylphy ( cvt engine )......during acceleration it gives a louder roar...crusing is quite quiet.

that's what a lot say about cvt, alot roar but no actual acceleration. Also, dunno true or not, a handful car reviews I've watch gave quite bad remarks on cvt. The last one I watch was a review on the new Toyota Auris, which uses cvt also.

Not sunny engine, the sunny engine code is QG16DE and New Sylphy is HR16DE.
