5 = 5 rows of icons instead of 4

 

In fact, the biggest jump in the physical phone (other than iOS which i thought 3 -> 4 was a big jump) was from 3GS to 4.

The only thing i miss about my previous iphone 4 is

a) Better text prediction with autocorrect instead of using the other android keyboards

b) Certain less common apps which have a better iphone version

 

Both the S3 and iphone 4/4S, both design wise are nice.

Whoever is talking about build quality difference between iphone and S3 obviously has never owned both.

 

There's no reason to queue like these for these phones. Singtel launch usually has a better collection system. At least not so much stupid queuing. Just go there to collect.

3GS to 4 was revolutionary.. the ones after that just had minor improvements...

no lah, Retina was on ip4. I bot on the launch day, at that time it was very chioh cf to 3GS

But the hard edges made it less comfortable to hold. but still a beautiful phone.

It's obvious iOS is superior When inferior, you try all kinds of attacks like flaming, stupid ads to make themselves mentally happier

 

superior is a little subjective. i think ios runs leaner, like wp. just tat for wp, there's simply not enough apps unlike ios where for virtually any purpose u need, the apps are there and better...for eg, watsapp on wp is just slow.

 

i haven't heard much complaints about newer androids and the build quality from HTC is quite awesome, plus some superb cam features. but i do like some things like closing apps all at once for android whereas for ios, it's still not there unless jailbreak.

 

agree on apple's superb build quality though. funny macs are solidly build but most ppl still use windows. Apple can't turn ppl to their computers but can do so with their phones. i guess the phone is sort of a plaything whereas PC apps are too crucial to just switch.

 

but i got a feeling when Microsoft has a solid integration with Office, folks may be 'forced' to use windows phones. plus Jobs isn't around to work his magic anymore.

Does any owner of iphone5 can comment the quality of the photo vs the 4S? Any much improvement especially on the lowlight where 4S is totally a failure when compete with Lumia 920 shoot as per link below?

I have got my 2 phones and after playing with it for a while. All I can say, it feels good in my hands, good to type with 1 hand. A bit small for my big hands.

 

It is fast and slick.

 

Other than that, nothing really wow me. I suppose ladies and children will still like this toy.

 

I have an ipad and macbook pro. iphone is still a no no for me.

 

As for now, I will stick to my S3 and I still prefer my google ecosystem.

on a sidenote. Looking at the latest MBP, it it up lorry, it's almost unrepairable.

U wld have to get a replacement. I believe quite a few carrots will be chopped by Apple there

Good apsc lens won't lose much money on resale...... Well it depend on market demand
