Notice the similarity in terms of the case shape and size .

 

both cushion case and 43mm size. distinctively Seiko in the late 70s.

thats what i love about Seiko vintage watches. They were so well designed, with classic simply lines unlike todays ugly mess

Since so quiet, I ask a noob question. What is the function of the numbers at the bezel used for? Not referring to the tachymeter.

If you are referring to diving watches like submariner, it is to time how long you have been under water.

for elapsed time when diving. just turn accordingly to use as strating or ending depending on how you prefer to do your reading

Strap: Concord NOS genuine Crocodile skin in cognac

Clasp: Custom made Bvlgari style clip clasp

 

Overall condition: Excellent, gold plating is not worn out, movement is very strong and running very accurate. Last serviced a few months ago.

Strap and unique Clasp is brand new and rare.

Presenting my stealth and minimalist looking Seiko black helmet

 

Caliber 6139 single register chrono

High quality aftermarket dial and hands (as good as original)

Very unique sporty yellow chrono hands which stand out.

 

Watch runs strong and keeps good time for vintage.

Case is well taken care of and looks almost new.

Movement is clean and has been serviced about a month ago.

Chrono registers work perfect and reset to zero.

Day Date works perfect with quickset

A light scratch on the hardlex crystal, visible only at certain angles against light.

 

Watch currently on aftermarket Seiko black nylon strap .
