i was told there are no tax rebates in hong kong for shopping.. so if u bought a rollie there, there's not much savings i guess.

Got this Ferragamo watch from ANZ credit promo....

Maybe want to sell it off, any comments?

Bro.... Ferragamo make shoes, not watches.....

Their shoes are made in Italy but the watch.... They probably contracted some China factory to produce it for them to give away as free gift...

designer watches are worthless.

at least get those from watch makers.

Yup, wonder why people spend good money on such non watch-maker designer watches.

Its as good as buying a washing machine from Nike. If they do manufacture it, that is.

Hoho

Well Different ppl got different reason to get designer watch, It could be due to unique design or they really like the design of the watch,.

Or they could be brand loyalist, die die also must get that brand lol,

Nike could engage washing machine maker i.e. LG, Samsung to manufacture washing machine for them and brand it under Nike, with the right marketing, i bet ppl will still buy it :D

Yup.

But $22k for a preowned, lightly used no doubt, is still too much.

If you thought that was overpriced, check this out, although it could be because of the "meteorite" dial (that is, if you believe the literature about the origins of the meteorite dial) and white gold is usually slightly more expensive than yellow gold:

This one here selling for low price but no papers...

Hi All,

I am thinking of getting a pre-owned Rolex sub with date (maybe a M or V series).

I currently have an Omega Seamaster (2551) which was with me for ten over yrs.

When I look at the Sub and my Seamaster, they look quite identical in design. Is it a good idea to purchase another watch (in this case, Sub) which is similar in design and look?

Please advise. It is greatly appreciate. Thanks.
