wait for next sitex or IT show. right now, nam huat audio selling at 300sgd & corvit selling at 329sgd.

so far no issue, set just feel warm due to normal operation. wifi connection to iphone oso no issue. nvr going back to blackvue anymore (due to heat & price).

iroad v7 feedback currently - random wifi login w iphone shows set still recording front n back; at mid-day w sun front can be hot to touch but records as normal w/o any distortion; just realized can save jpeg image and video usin ur phone memory; when viewin video can use fingers to zoom in / out (note it's only HD not fullHD so don't expect zoom have more details); no hanging / not recording due to heat; 30fps front n back video not choppy.

strongly recommended, but i dunno how to upload video here to prove it to u ppl lol.

I dont have the FXD900 but i am currently using the X500. No issues with battery drain. U can set the min cut off voltage. Even if u dont, the max recording duration after shutting off the engine is 48hrs. Unless yr battery is in a very bad condition, i dont think it will be an issue.

Anyone using Thinkware FXD900? Does it drain battery? I am waviering between this, blackvue 2ch and itronic... Any suggestion?

i see. what about being under the sun? There's no shelter in my workplace nor home... Heard that blackvue will overheat.

Did not experience any heat related issues. The X500 can handle up to 80C if I am not mistaken.

Bro,

I considering to get this V7. Need your advise.

Does the park mode work well? Does motion sensor pickup movement of people/car and record footage?

Hopefully not too much drain on the battery.

i didn't really monitor cos i always drive the next day. so i guess even it's recording when no motion detected, still not drain batt so much. anyway, it has built-in batt low volt cutoff wc u can set (i set mine to 12.2v).

Maybe you can check if there is any footage recorded when your car is parked. It will be useful evidence if someone knock your car when parked.

what i meant was it was recording when i randomly connected via wifi to view video, but i was unsure if it only records when it detects motion.

Supercharged

can those plug & play car cam mounted on rearview mirror also record rear view?

If that car cam has only a forward facing lens, then it cannot record rear view.

For those who use camera for 24 parking surveillance, do yourself a favour by connecting it to a separate battery.

Most people allow the supplier to tap onto existing car battery and make promises it will cut-off blah..blah..blah.

In many cases, the main battery for starting engine is drained enough, that it can't start the engine.

Then you are either stuck, looking for a jump start or quarrel with your battery supplier about battery fault.

It is not battery fault, but the bloody camera draining it flat.

Some camera sucks power like nothing.

It's like leaving a 5W bulb turn on throughout the night.

Don't expect your car to start in the morning.

So for plug & play type will need what Taxi driver installs. The same cam attached to the rear mirror mount have lenses on both the front & rear side.

So for plug/play type, best to remove jack from the 12v charger after turning off ignition?

How bout those that are installed by workshops outside or AD that I understand connects direct to the battery. Understand that these type the rear lens is installed into the rear bumper? Are there added benefits of having this type of car cam over a plug & play type?
