Car camera recommendation

Thks bro.. Can I off the parking but on the motion? What's mean if like that?

Of course can, I take it that you want motion detect as your main recording when parking.

From what I know, to activate motion detect while parking, you need to select parking and motion detect together. However, there are issues with some users as the motion detect is too sensitive and records continuously. you can try it out with one night of parking with motion detect, and check the recordings the following day. Hope it helps.... Thanks.

Anyone know about Dabonda-brand cameras (e.g. Dabonda Gallery, Dabonda Miracle), or this other brand, Nuovo?

Hi I have heard many ppl say that rear camera is a must as there will be jokers who rear end you and then claim that you reversed into them. However assuming you just have a front cam and record the exact time of the accident that can also prove that you were not reversing right?

Just thinking if I should spend extra money on a rear cam, any bros have expert advice? TIA!

Such case have happen before. If you can afford the extra for a rear-camera, I think you should get rear coverage for additional peace of mind.

Oh one more question. Is there any situation where there is a need for sound recording? I'm thinking when I get my car camera should good sound capturing be a factor?

I think sound recording is unimportant for most, but it is important in some cases where you were for example impacted from an angle not captured by your camera(s). e.g. if you got hit on the side, your camera might record the noise and show a sharp deviation in your car's position which can be used as evidence.

Also it catches horns and what not... though a sensitive microphone of course also captures all the chit-chat in the car. Of course it is also possible to remove the sound later on if you deem that you don't want to publish the sound.

Ok cool thanks bro that's what I wanted to know. I was wondering if I record sound but inadvertently record a private conversation that I don't want others to hear then that's not cool .... Haha

I'm looking for a car camera, and it seems like iRoad gets mentioned a lot. I have a few questions, hope iRoad users can help to enlighten me.

1) Are there any overheating issues with the camera, be it v9 or v7? My car will be parked under the hot sun for the whole day.

2) The video files are in .jdr format. I assume there is a way to save the video files on my smartphone via Wifi? Is there a way to view them on my smartphone after the Wifi connection is terminated? Or will I always have to use the PC software to convert to AVI?

3) I've read a few reviews where people say the camera hangs unexpectedly and they didn't know until they tried to connect to it via Wifi. Anyone here has the same problem?

Lastly, but not related to iRoad, I'm using the Itronics camera, which appeared to be very popular 1+ year ago. But people hardly mention it now. Anyone knows why?

Sharing my experience on V9. Using it for about 1 weeks since installation.

1. Office carpark is open air but so far yet to encounter any over heating issue.

2. Yet to try downloading the video. Only view them using the android apps.

3. Was abit concerned about this issue after reading one of the review in sgcarmart for v7, so I tried to checked the recording daily. To date, it has not encountered any issue.

4. Before getting iroad, I checked with dsxuite but the current promotion is not very attractive. Iroad pricing is better.
