Question for those who say driver/car in wrong:-

 

If I am travelling at speed limit on lane 2 of expressway, filter into lane 1 with signal, someone at the rear cannot slow down on time for me to filter and caused an accident, who sala?

 

Think before you answer ok?

 

If that everything point to speeding sala, As long as I dont speed, I am not in the wrong.

People would just move in to lane 1 regardless of traffic conditions.

Adding on, next time, people would just drive on 2 lanes.

Others wanna overtake me from left/right, I go block them.

As long as I dont speed, I am not in the wrong.

what is the chances of survival of getting run over by a car (probably the first two wheels)? :wacko:

imo, at fault as well, in addition to the speed he's going, driver's reaction is slow.. though we can hear some braking sound, it doesn't look like an e-brake.

can anyone make out what car is that?

imo, the guy doing filter is at fault.

he didn't check clear.

this can happen at any speed... not whether speeding or not.

 

just like many who just flicked signal and assume the other lane will/got time/react to give way...

if the speed is not shown..... and the same accident happen, who will be at fault?

 

Coming back to the same thing, if the car is travelling at 40km/h (not speeeding), and same thing, knocked into the motorcyclist, who is at fault?

 

I tink we have to put the speeding issue aside. The motorcycle is clearly at fault for turning in from Lane 3, regardless of wat speed the car is travelling.Travelling above speed limit is for TP to catch and not for us to point at the driver to say he is guilty. Just bcos the rider seems seriously injured and the driver is safe and sound, we all are so quick to judge that the driver is definitely at fault. If base on the video, without a doubt, the motorbiker is the one at fault. Even travelling at 30km/h and judging the distance between the car and the motorcycle, the driver will still knock into the rider. Just that he will not fly so far.

 

I dun understand y so many commented the driver is at fault. U mean, turning in from lane 3, is correct? If now, the scenario changes, a car (instead of a motorcycle) turns in from lane 3, crashes into a car from lane 4, like that who is wrong?

 

Or we turn the whole thing around, now lane 4 is motorcycle, lane 3 is car, if motorcycle (at lane 4) crashed into the car turning from lane 3, like that means motorcycle at lane 4 is wrong? Since motorcycle is speeding??

For those who said that they would have already jammed their brakes upon seeing the biker signal and move towards the left, you mean you all can predict the biker is going to turn left rather than filter to third lane?

 

I thought the normal reaction would be to think that the biker is trying to filter into the third lane. If the biker only filter into the third lane I doubt the car would have hit the bike since the bike will not slow down much.

No matter what the guy who change lane is wrong ma. Just like during TP if you change lane and someone had to jam brake and honk at you you will still fail even if no accident or the other guy speeding. Cuz the person changing lane should be looking out for other road users.

This one both sala, motorbike late signal and turn direct from lane 3 is wrong, the car drive almost 80 kmh on the lane 4 is also looking for trouble, and choose to swerve rather than straight brake immediately. But..but.. in Malaysia, India or Indonesia, definitely the car sala because the bigger should slow down
