You are supposed to:

 

1. Open your desktop browser to the link

2. It will show you the QR code

3. Go to your whatsapp on the phone - click to scan the code from there

4. Completed!

iphone support has just appeared on their page and the update is being rolled out shortly (fingers crossed)

Both ways I suppose. My other iphone has the Whatsapp web option but my 6 plus doesn't. Not sure why

its slowly being rolled out server side. kill the whatsapp app a few times and reopen. it will appear after.

 

anyway, use chrome wont have disconnect issues it seems. it has been connected for the last hour with zero issues for me.

Killed and restarted the app umpteen times. No go. The option is missing. :TT_TT:

Iphone makes the hardware parts and the software parts so the hardware will work with the softwate and the software will work with the hardware. (taken from a recent Iphone advertisment)

 

If it will not work on an Iphone, it's not meant for an Iphone.

There was a jailbreak to enable the function but I never use it due to lack of support from Whatsapp. Now that it is ready for iphone, mine cannot

 

Anyway, I just backup the chat to icloud. Deleted the app and reinstalled. Now restoring the backup... very slow.... see if that works. If that still doesn't work, I am destined not to use it
