It is kind of funny when you booked your car in 2017 but title of this thread states Altis 2014. This is because you are not allow a to start a new thread since Altis already appeared?

Booked a unit at the pricing, further more they are throwing in a 6 bids guranteed COE package together with $300 taka voucher and $300 petrol voucher. Was told that this is package will be similar to the car show promo. Told by SE that this is really show hand pricing. Hope they will put in a bid and secure the COE for me at the coming bidding exercise. Cant wait to get my hand on the new ride.

Comparatively, Mz3 deluxe going for $1k more but non guaranteed COE n only 3 yrs free svc.

Altis Elegance model going for $99,988 with 5 yrs free servicing.

Seems a really good value buy and almost no margin at today's Cat A COE price.

 

Too good to be true or some catch?

I suppose the facelift coming in hence the clearance price but even then seldom see Borneo clearing their volume seller at these kind of prices?

That is really cheap, relative to the prices in October/November.

For those who are still waiting for COE to drop, if you are interested in Altis only, I suggest you go in fast. Once the existing stocks are sold, new facelifted version may come and the price would be much higher. This is very likely to happen after CNY period.

 

I monitored the price for Altis for one year. This is the cheapest price it is sold since 2016, together with better package.

Did not managed to squeeze much from the SE for other freebies. Maybe you can try either floor mat, scuff plate or visor. Why I went in with the SE Without the freebies was because he provided me with the highest quote for my used car.

 

By the way, the following are additional info for consideration

 

The servicing package could be traded in for further discount i.e. every 2 yrs of servicing for $1K discount. So if the Altis comes with only 1 year free service, the nett price is $97,988 ($2K discount)

 

Went in with the minimum loan of $30K for one year and in house insurance by AIG.

Anyone did the 3M customised floor mat ? Using one for my current ride and found it useful. Was quoted $220 for complete set (w/o boot) for Superior grade and $175 for standard grade. May I know know the difference between the two ? Supplier just told me no diff just one is thikcer then the other.

So the price you got was 99.998? I went a couple of days back, the SE was trying to sell me at 100998 :(

I did, think is 3m nomad 8890 or something. The thicker version. Forgot the price already.

What I like: thick mat and the ground feel is good since I dun wear shoe when driving.

What I dislike: unable to lock it in place unlike maxspider.

Just trying to share my experience. Called Quotz and they quoted a reserved price of $32K for two weeks delivery i.e. Any offer below this price u will get back the $107 admin fee paid . The ultimate selling price should be above this reserved price.

 

My SE quoted $33.5K for my ride and currently to get the Altis at $99,988 and this is inclusive of $1K discount for trading in your vehicle with BM. Bottom line is that I must get at least $34.5K and above for my ride to make the effort worth while. Thinking that it is a 6 bids guaranteed package there is a possibility I might need to wait beyond the first bid and the longer I waited my used car price will correspondingly drop slightly. Did venture into the possibility of securing the COE at the first bidding exercise with the SE but he replied no promise that BM will get at first bid but definitely within the stipulated 6 bids. Cause with certainty then I could explore selling the car either through quotz or on my own cause I would like a rather seamless transition (Not too long a period without car) between handing over and collecting my new car.   

 

Taking all these into consideration I therefore decided to trade in my ride with BM.
