I think is area dependent. For my area at Bedok or East side, Uber always cheaper. Yesterday 2.30pm i traveled from Ubi to Bedok. Grab $19,my Uber ride $9,95

​Think depends on driver incentives ba. Grab from what I know have a lot of incentives driving peak hours. So many grab drivers just chiong peak hours and rest during off peak.

 

​As compared to Uber, the incentives is not that much. Like for me, I prefer to drive from 4 or 5 am to 5pm than pang kang. Believe many uber driver also do that.

 

​So off peak more uber cars and thus cheaper..

uber is losing ground with the negative news, less driver and less promotions. Price also the highest most of the time.

True, uber is losing ground soon. Even nowadays you can find some "weird" uber driver also. Lol.

My uber incentive getting lower by the weeks. I think too many drivers and they don't care too much about keeping the old birds.

They just keep harping on referrals for new drivers.
