2014 X-Trail

I contacted the seller. He told me the dimensions of the item is 200cm x 41cm x 23cm, equivalent to 0.18m3. 65daigou is expensive because their charge is based on volumetric weight which makes it become 31kg. Each kg $3, approx $90. If you use diy or group sea shipping, 1 cubic metre regardless of weight is RMB450 delivered to your doorstep. This is famous among the PRC in Singapore nowadays. But minimum charge is 1 cubic metre so you need to form at least that to make it worth it.

If going by rmb450 per cubic metre, this group shipping really saves lot compares to daigou! I can switch to this shipping method for bigger items. Thanks for telling!

Found out something interesting while my mum driving out yesterday,

Seems that once you engage reverse gear and the parking camera come on you cannot control the radio functions (i.e volume, channels etc) using the knobs or the steering controls. (Basically the volume was too loud and I tried to lower it from the passenger side), seems like a odd design hiccup.

I spoke to TC yesterday as well, he claims the Xtrail cannot be program with the auto-lock function while driving, he was supposedly the "expert" but I recall some of you here have done it before. Can anyone confirm?

Also does anyone know where to buy the short Ant for the Xtrail, the stock one is hitting everything within reach. Does Autobacs sell this?

I think the common Ant are those sharkfin type. I'm finalising my taobao items this week. For smaller items, i can still get for u if u r interested. Let me know then.

Wah thanks, i am keen but a mountain turtle like myself would need to set up a wechat acc first!

And does anyone know whether X trail comes with tyre pressure monitoring system? Thanks!

Very kind for your offer, no worries though I'll pop down to autobacs this weekend to look for it on top other things.

But really appreciate your offer, gam dong  [thumbsup]

hi

for info, this is internal type, whereby you need tyre specialist to help installation and they might charge installation fee (about $50)?

why not consider this which is external type (with locking screw to prevent theft) which you can self installed and also during tyre rotation, you can change back to the original setting so that you know which is they one the reading is referring.

Yes you are right! Though with less accuracy, the external type makes more sense to my driving need as i am looking for a gauge as long it can alert me of puncturing tyre. The internal type probably suits those car enthusiasts better. Thanks!

Can this suv run on 92 petrol?

Since the price is so near to outlander, what makes you choose this 2.0ltr vs outlander 2.5ltr?

RON rating: 91 (The manufacturer's minimum recommended fuel octane level)
