Hi folks. I should be collecting my X-Trail in Jan. 

 

I skimmed through this thread. Has anyone done ICE, bodykit or bbk on this car yet?

thanks for the information on the car cam. May I know what brand and model is the cam?

 

 

I am pondering to remove the spare tyre to lessen the car weight, as I do not think I will be changing tyre in event of puncture. I will most likely get those repair punctured tyre emergency kit.

 

However, on second thoughts, I thought by leaving the spare tyre there, it can be a safety buffer if my car get rear-ended. What you guys think?

 

Any recommended workshop to do such TPMS without wiring?

U can install Orange TPMS. No wiring, using RFID tech, battery last 2-5 years then need to change new set.

thanks...understand that Orange is internal, maybe I should go for those external types to save the trouble of resetting after tyre rotation.

well, when i viewed the car, SE said if QQ, got ex stock.. but for Xtrail, would be mid to end Jan. 

 

No mention of Feb. She seemed very sure.

i had that on my previous vios. good to know i have that lock especially up north but after sometimes, i got worried with it being ontop of my leg, if in accident and that thing hit my leg, sure gone case.. after i sold off my vios (with that locktech sold to another vios driver), i wont fix it up again... dont think it will void warranty since it's technically mechanical latch lock.
