Beside the mentioned, I think the standard items are car mat and free 3 servicings. You probably can get another 1k to 2k off the listed price. Oh yes, you can try asking to add on a foldable side mirror.

Think I will try my luck with another SE. My current one only the standard items with no discount.

Generally, the SE will offer u the additional discount if u show signs of buying the car. More often, i think the SE casually mistook u as window browser trying to dish out price info.

Trust me, if u make an offer to sign the dotted lines on condition of further discount, the SE will likely oblige.

COE drops another $5k. I believe the xtrail price will be at all time low.

I only got $1k off the price. You may want to take note the extra discount is not always consistent throughout. Otherwise, you may mistaken your SE for shortchanged you.

End of the day, whichever deal u gotten, i felt that while we want the best of the best deal, let's not forgotten the real joy is buying a brand new car and not harp on the lesser.

Hey guys, are you getting approx 10km/ltr for this SUV?

After looking at all the comments, I am starting to incline towards XT from outlander. The only barrier now is the spaciousness of 3rd row seats which to be me honest, will not use it often

Also, for the free cam, does it cover both front and rear with all time recording function ?

No way to install first-brake-lock all doors function?

I like the idea of having a spare tyre as a safety buffer during back end collision. Does it make sense to you?

Lastly, which workshop can provide installation of TPMS and would it void warranty?

Many thanks

Hi sir, I gotten my coe in mid Nov. SE told me i wld be able to get my car latest by early feb 16.

R u sure? I got coe end of November and car was delivered mid December

I totally agree that the X Trail is the car to get. Just want to check if anyone got a better deal from Tan Chong besides the free solar film and car cam.

The deal should include auto fold mirror. 2k off list price and a full tank petrol when deliver. Edited by dongxie

Front and back cam provided but no recording when park

Spare tyre is provided. Do u mean those mounted at the tailgate?

You can install those tpms without wiring

thanks for the information on the car cam.    May I know what brand and model is the cam?

I am pondering to remove the spare tyre to lessen the car weight, as I do not think I will be changing tyre in event of puncture.  I will most likely get those repair punctured tyre emergency kit.

However, on second thoughts, I thought by leaving the spare tyre there, it can be a safety buffer if my car get rear-ended.  What you guys think?

Any recommended workshop to do such TPMS without wiring?

I saw a nice red Xtrail at the Msia Shell station along the highway leading to Tuas in the direction of Singapore, plate was 3XXXD I think. Does it belong to anyone on the forum?
