Have to unplug the entire thing, let it rest and plug in again. are you using a charge-only cable? or a dual function cable that allows syncing and charging? i understand the length of a charging cable is also an important factor. The second cable is dual function. I have one which is 120cm and another 28cm. If it doesn't work, both also don't work. If it works, both works ! The first port always works though. Weird ! In the end, I bought a dedicated Nokia car charger, and my phone finally been able to charge while in use as a GPS. there's a Customer FAQ at Anker's webpage.
