I just got news another policyholder currently has 96 containers at Tianjin port, current status unknown. Laffo.

 

Gotta wait and see, surveyors also can't get access at the moment.

some area still burning i think, also the pollution caused by the chemical.

WTF they put there???? Atomic bomb factory??? [shakehead]

Port Area - can expect lots of mixed cargo and when there is a small fire it can lead to a bigger one very easily and heat travels like crazy under pressure and looking at the video can see its like an atomic bomb; I really pity the firemen whom might be not totally prepared for a fire of such a Massive scale and overwhelmed as to where to start in the first place; just like the 911 firemen whom were caught in a bind when the second tower collapsed when a second plane hit ; I wont be surprised that the area of the blasts "heat shooting" out might have been even 1/4 of Singapore; Its like dominos falling (or burning in this case) one by one

This is the most graphic video so far (WTF WTF and laughter's aside)! The fire ball must have been 300m high! No wonder everything burnt and melted....

I think I just watch someone perished in the last mega explosion.

 

At around 0:15sec when the male said "what the fcuk.." - a group of siren-like blinking lights is clearly visible which I assumed to be first respondence vehicles parked on the right side of the blazing fire.

Few seconds later, the blinking lights was consumed by the expanding fireball.

 

When the shockwave hit, then the camera persons started to get really panic.

 

PS: Tianjin is the 4th largest city in China and one of the majar FTZ (free trade zone) with many MNC and offices there.

China is far more cosmopolitan than some pple think.

last year but never been to TJ ... frequent shanghai and hangzhou because got friends there

 

When you last go to PRC ?? Lots of AMTK diaspora there now ..
