Landslot Clutched October 22, 2016 Share October 22, 2016 Hi, first time posting. Would like to ask some questions and hope you guy like help me. Test Drive the Elite ver last 2 week. Found to be quite silent is term of road noise (for me) and a relax drive. Also during the test drive was offer the following promotion: - Up to 5 years free servicing- 2.08% interest rate- 5 years factory warranty- 1 year road tax Seems that there is a new Promo out this week and is like : - Sure-win lucky dip up to $39,999* cash rebate and more! Not sure how is the warranty now for this week as it did not say much via sgcarmart. Also what will be the offer the SA would give? My understand that the Car cam is only from front but not for back? can it be "upgrade" to have 2 ch for front and back? Rest of the items like Solar.Car mat.. etc?? At the same time if there is any good SA to recommend? Can PM me the contacts? Thanks ↡ Advertisement

13177 Hypersonic October 22, 2016 Share October 22, 2016 It is Ok for me to wait till the end of 6 bids. Even if you put 10K in short term deposit it will only earn a couple of dollars at 0.05% interest. hahaha. BTW I may even go and take a look at the motor show end of this month and see if there are any other cars of interest for further consideration after end of the bid. End of this month is car expo show not consider motor show la. Motor show is next year Jan.
Daniu82 Supercharged October 22, 2016 Share October 22, 2016 Yup correct. The camera doesn't have WiFi function and not clear at all.Is the brand dabonda black box? But if the camera is not clear and I wish to change the camera, will the warranty be void if the new camera is connected to car battery? Anybody can advise me?
numbintheheart 2nd Gear October 22, 2016 Share October 22, 2016 What is the recommended petrol based on the manual then? I thought we should follow the suggested one.I just read the manual it writes ron95 recommended
Vinceng Turbocharged October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 Can see that you are a careful buyer. On hindsight, would you have secured a guarantee COE since your booking price was competitive? Looking at the current trend and lower COE quota for the coming quarter, most ppl are expecting COE prices to rise. Not to throw cold water now, you may want to call off the deal, take back your deposit (if your agreement/AD allows) and move on to book another ride before prices were to get higher since you have already made up mind not to play the top up game with your SE eventually. Good Luck!! Doesn't make sense for COE to rise in this sombre economy. In any case, another option is to look out for fairly new repossessed cars, which are abundant in the market.. LTA just need to continue cutting quotas, for next few quarters and COE prices will be maintained, or even climb further! No?

Alfc 5th Gear October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 Doesn't make sense for COE to rise in this sombre economy. In any case, another option is to look out for fairly new repossessed cars, which are abundant in the market.. We are living in an era of instalments. So what if COE rise another $5-10k, The death penalty only happens when people gets into cashflow problem which most don't plan enough for. Our generation have yet to experience such sufferings to be prudent enough for it. So far all the so-called downturn is really nothing close to the real thing.
Vinceng Turbocharged October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 (edited) COE back to 50k, with low no of bids, is the 85K elantra offer back? what is the latest offer for the lowest trim, tier 3, elantra. No more $86,000. Revised to $90,500 for basic GLS model. But car can be secured only of COE drops to below $50K. LTA just need to continue cutting quotas, for next few quarters and COE prices will be maintained, or even climb further! No? Club21z 4th Gear October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 COE itself doesn't make sense so don't really expect economy to go hand in hand with its prices. Throw lots of factor like uber, extended loan, private hire scheme, private loop hole loan etc, no way to predict the price already.
wdldalian 2nd Gear October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 I just read the manual it writes ron95 recommended Then should use 95. I read somewhere that it is also not good to use higher RON petrol than the recommended. ↡ Advertisement
