It depends.

Will you pay 130k for a spacious Mazda 6, or a cramped Mercedes-Benz A class?

I will go for merc A class.

both conti and jap has different design approach.

conti: handling, technology

jap: economical, easy maintenance

safety wise, need not to mention.

Different class of vehicle don't think is that fair to really compare. But that Mazda does have excellent handling compared to some conti.  :D

within a year top up twice!!!

I have been driving turbo car for almost 9 years and did not have to top up the oil during the 1st 5 years other than the yearly oil change. After 5 years only need to top up with a fraction of a small bottle due to micro leaks through the gaskets. If you need to top up regularly means there is a serious leak.

If go change yourself outside, will it void warranty?

Actually the Civic is more spacious than the S60.

Of course, in an accident, IMO, one is much more likely to walk away unscathed from the Volvo...

The seats, the plastics and the prestige are much higher in the Volvo though..

Test drove the Mazda 6 2.5 & the Civic 1.5T. Push hard both cars on highway, Mazda 2.5 engine note very rough. Civic is effortless on pickup!

I find that the Civic cabin rear is slightly bigger too. Overall length shorter than 6 due to shorter bonnet.

In before saving preachers come in..

I want neither 1.5t not Volvo nor Mazda 6.

I want Nissan note($70800 promotion) or honda jazz with another 40k to use on investments....which have higher ROI than a car....

Just joking....

Is this with the power shift or 8 speed box? If power shift then the class action law suit in the USA on this gearbox should serve as a warning.

6 speed auto for Volvo S60
